Newly discovered Border 4 The glitch could easily break completely meta builds, but Gearbox is already aware of it and working on a fix. What the timeline is on that fix is uncertain, however Border 4 Fans may want to pay attention to the usual Thursday patch notes when using the glitch.
Shared by content creator JoltzDude139 and first reported by GamesRadar, the end result is essentially duplicating skill points so players can unlock all the skills they want. While there are many OP constructs Border 4It is very clear that this will break the balance of the game very quickly.
As JoltzDude139 explained, the glitch requires players to invest a certain number of skill points in any ability, only have one skill point left, and ensure that all abilities are not maxed out (when two points short). Once players have the ability they want, they return to the previous skill (with one point) and throw the remaining skill points into that ability. Then, they click 'undo' to reverse the process. What happens here is that instead of returning a single skill to the ability, the function returns two. border area 4 essentially assumes that the players threw away more than one point when they didn't, and the players can repeat this until they have the broken build they want. Of course, it's hard to replicate consistently, as JoltzDude139 explained, but the possibilities of such builds would be absolutely game-breaking.
Too game-breaking to let players run, it seems Border 4 Creative director Graeme Timmins replied simply to Joltzdude139, “We're on it.” It's uncertain how soon this will be fixed or where it falls into Gearbox's current priorities, but given how potentially broken it is, fans can expect it sooner rather than later. Taking advantage of that means fans want to be quick, hop into the game and get the process going. Unless it's done via hotfix, fans can expect it to be fixed with the November 20 or November 27 patch; I don't see it alive until the end of the month, anyway.
It will be interesting to see how the community reacts to this bug and its pending fix. On the one hand, within the ridiculously powerful construction Border 4 That's part of the fun; On the other hand, it completely breaks the game's restraint and isn't about the build as much as it is about legitimately breaking the game. It will undoubtedly be fun to check out for a few, but if fans want to do that, they'll need to be quick.
