Building a base on Palworld It takes time and dedication, especially if you want it to look as good as it operates. However, until Home Sweet Home is updated, you have to get creative with specific elements of designing. With this update, however, you can now paint building blocks and place triangular blocks.
Palworld: Hartalis Raid Boss Guide
Defeat one of the most powerful raid bosses and claim your reward!
We've come up with some cool building ideas to try using all your new blocks. From complete base renovations to fun minigames you can play with friends, here are the best builds you can make with the latest Palworld update! Be sure to try them.
Build pyramids
If you've ever set up a base in the desert for sulfur or coal, then you know how good a set of pyramids look next to a statue of Anubis or hidden in the sand. With triangular building blocks, you can protect your base from intruders and create a pyramid to store items and stack tent beds.
Of course, it will not be easy. You'll need to build a wider base and scale up using diagonal roof pieces, but the overall effect is gorgeous. Bonus points if you use a stone building set and paint it a dusty gold color to better fit the desert environment. If you plan it right, opposing players may not even know it's a base.
An ice rink
With glass sets, you can create amazing works of transparent art, but why make something more exciting? Instead, place glass foundations around the snowy biomes, then use fences to corral the area. Use triangular bases to create more rounded corners.
With glass on the floor, it will look like ice – especially if you paint it with a light blue or green color to look like frozen water. While it will operate like a normal base, you can decorate it to be festive and create some holiday magic for your northern bases. You can also “melt” it by removing the paint and letting it appear as a lake off-season.
Create a stained-glass window
There are many ruined churches around the archipelago, and you can use them as foundations for your base. Why not try rebuilding a crumbling cathedral and install your own stained glass windows to accent it? With triangular wall pieces, you can create a mosaic that sparkles when the sunlight hits it.
Of course, the details will be difficult to express without some practice and patience, but it is a good idea to try if you have the resources to spare. After all, how cool would it be to build your own following in a cathedral within Palworld? Use can rally your guild mates around it and work to spread your mission across the land.
A game of checkers
Now that painting is unlocked, you can create a traditional checkerboard or chess board to play with. Whether you use statues as playing pieces or your guild mates, there's a lot of fun here.
A uniform checkerboard takes up a lot of space, so it's a good idea to build it on a bare base if you have one, or to stop the damage and build it elsewhere. Consider using glass or stone for a smooth-looking end result, and be sure to paint them contrasting colors so you can easily play with them.
Round towers
By now, you've probably tried to build a tower, only to find it looks like a giant box. If this becomes a problem, consider building a tower with triangular pieces at the corners. It creates a nice rounded effect despite not being round! Instead, you can have the aesthetic you want without compromising the functionality of a grid-based system.
You can scale it down to build a functional silo, just like a decorative one you can keep. However, it can hold all food-related items so they don't spoil. Consider making this for your next base if you have extra food.
Race tracks
A more fun option for triangular pieces involves building a race course for you and your friends. Line up at the start and rush along the building blocks to reach the end of the loop at your favorite mounts. This is a great way to test your skills and show off the characteristics of your sails, especially if you are breeding them for infinite stamina or high base speed.
This will take up a lot of space, so it's a good idea to break out the bases so you can build the track to your specifications. The added challenge of stopping tentacles falling on the track or passing through enemy camps makes the race even more engaging.
Beware of anti-air zones, unless you want more chaos.
Mosaic floors
Just like stained glass windows, you can also create patterned floors inside your home. At this time, not all pieces can be painted, so if you want custom paint jobs, you'll have to factor in wood, stone, or glass, but it's worth it to create aesthetically pleasing designs on your otherwise fragile floor.
Use paint to create shading and contrast so that the whole composition has some added depth. Since you can fully customize the range of colors you use, it should be easy to adjust the colors as needed to create a stylish and attractive home palette.
An altar to Palbox
Why build a Palbox on the floor when you can make it a base to rest on. Since you can't build around the palbox once it's in place, it's a good idea to prepare for this in advance. Build a deck or patio to sit on and use triangular pieces to create a centerpiece. You can't place steps with triangle pieces as they go on a diagonal, get creative to design a framing effect and use the steps to lead to the Palbox.
This way, you can fully customize your base without the pallet box getting in the way, and you can create an altar that hides or at least elevates the pesky box so it doesn't ruin your aesthetic. Just be aware that the structure you build under the pallet box will essentially be permanent unless you want to dismantle the base or deal with the floating pallet box.
A luxury greenhouse
With new glass and wood pieces, you can create a stunning greenhouse for your gardening purposes. It is tall enough to get in and out without being obscenely large in the size of many Pals. Mixing in tatami mats for the floor creates a grassy effect because they cannot yet be painted.
Be sure to decorate the exterior with crawling ivy and floral decor, then fill the extra space inside to give it a grown-up vibe. Triangular pieces help create rounded corners to make the greenhouse more whimsical and elegant. Plus, with the glass windows, you can watch your crops grow without worrying about them being raided and destroyed.
