Arc Raiders is a peaceful game about people taking a shuttle to the surface to find loot for their underground dwellings and their pet chickens. You might have to fight the occasional arch in the process, but it's a chill vibe overall. However, there are some players who turn it into a PvP nightmare, filled with mistrust, theft, and betrayal, and NFL star Ja'Marr Chase unfortunately came into contact with them.
Honestly, I don't know if Chase is a PvPer or a friendly player, but the Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver found himself in a firefight with other Arch Raider players and got taken down in the process. While most of us pray for a miraculous rescue or wait for that inevitable punch, he tried to get out of being killed.
Ja'Marr Chase offered season tickets to Defib at Arc Raiders
Chase and another player find themselves engaged in a shootout against someone in a dark corridor. The NFL star was the first to go down, then he cheered on another player to kill the player who shot him. Unfortunately, the enemy proved too strong for both. When they approached Chase's down raider, the wide receiver begged them to defy them rather than offer them Bengals season tickets in return.
“Brother, if anyone defames me, I can give you a season ticket,” he announced. “Defib me bro, I can give you some tickets for the whole season, bro hang on!” Unfortunately, it seems that the attacker did not care about the offer, because they executed him. Chase clearly wasn't serious about the proposal, as he and the man he was playing with laughed off the whole scenario.
Ark Riders must be nominated for at least this GOTY category
Arc Raiders sound design is excellent, and it's a real shame it didn't get a nod at this year's Game Awards.
I don't know much about the NFL, but season tickets are definitely expensive, and I doubt Chase would have really arranged to give them to a player. Perhaps a ticket for another game, it was quite amusing to see him casually offering tickets to the person as he also likes football and lives in America!
