In almost every new a piece arc, Eiichiro Oda introduces new characters who make connections with the Straw Hat Pirates. In the Alabasta arc, it was Vivi, and then it was Carrot in the Zou arc. This trend continued with the Wano Country and Egghead arcs.
In Wano, Yamato seemed destined to join the Straw Hat Pirates, while in Egghead, it was Lilith who seemed closest to the pirate crew. until now, a piece Fans know that Oda doesn't always have a new character join the Straw Hats. However, they still have high hopes for Loki, who debuted in the Elbaf arc.

Loki is the son of the late King Harald, considered the best ruler of Elbaf. Besides being philanthropic, Harald was also an able warrior. In fact, he is Davey D. He was one of the few people who rivaled Jaybeck. Harald's desire was to transform Elbaf and open its borders to the rest of the world. He wanted to make friendship between demons and humans. For ages, they were treated as a dangerous race that only brought harm. Unfortunately, Harald was not able to realize his goal.
Elbaf's people loved Harald, so Loki was bound when the king was killed. At least, that's the story being pushed by Elbaf's people, but Loki doesn't seem to be the one to kill his father. Oda is likely to reveal the truth about Harald's death after the Lord Valley flashback ends.
Despite his status, One Piece fans have warmed to Loki. They love her design, lore, her weapon of choice, and her personality. It would be remiss not to mention that Loki shares some characteristics with Luffy. All of these things have made Loki a huge hit with fans, and they want him to join the Straw Hat Pirates.

Although Loki would be a great addition to the crew, there's little chance of him actually joining, and the reason is simple—he'd ruin the entire Demon Trio dynamic. From the East Blue Saga, the Demon Trio consists of Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji. Together, the three have won many important fights and helped the crew overcome many obstacles. It's safe to say that without them, the crew wouldn't have made it to the new world.
Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji are all capable fighters, but they are not on the same level. Luffy is head and shoulders above the two as proven by his victories over Kaido, Katakuri, Luchi and Doflamingo. Meanwhile, Zoro and Sanji are on the same level. If Loki were to join the crew, he would instantly become the second strongest member, behind only Luffy. While Loki has yet to fight anyone, there are some statements that are indicative of his power. It is said that only Shanks was able to stop Loki's rap on Elbaf. The fact that Gaban was also in the country meant that Loki was stronger than him.
Another piece of evidence is that the Holy Knights tried to recruit Loki into their ranks. Shamrock presented the offer to Loki, who refused to join them. These things prove that Loki is an incredible fighter who can hold his own against powerful fighters. So, if someone like him joins the Straw Hat Pirates, it will effectively end the Demon Trio.
The only way to stop the problem is if Oda makes Zoro and Sanji stronger than him in the Elbaf Arc. However, that would be too reckless, as it would require both of them to be on the same level as Shanks. If they become Yonko-level fighters, Luffy will need a massive power-up to stay ahead of them, so Loki won't be joining the Straw Hats.
