The effects of these attacks allowed Luffy to send Mars to Egghead Island.
Emmett was also involved in the episode, and it came in the clutch. As Topman ran towards the Warcarry ship, Emmett emerged from the water and sent the Elder flying. Thus, to save the ship from being destroyed.
