The Straw Hat Pirates have one final member pending. Their identities will be revealed during the One Piece Elbaf arc.
The highlight of the episode was Vegapunk and his plan to counter York and the rest of the World Government. For the most part, fans had no idea how Vegapunk managed to hide the transmission snail inside the Iron Giant. Finally, they got all the answers and more inside a piece Episode 1154.
Vegapunk knew that York had betrayed him
Two weeks before the Egghead incident, Vegapunk learned that a satellite had betrayed him and stolen a portion of the Mother Flame. The person had created fake memories to deceive others and almost succeeded. However, Stella, Pythagoras, and Shaka rolled up their sleeves and immediately got down to business.
Stella and Shaka suspect Lilith of being a traitor. After all, he was the embodiment of the bad side of Vegapunk. Both stuck to the faith, but Pythagoras refused to admit that Lilith was a traitor. After a week of work, Stella, Shaka and Pythagoras learn that it was York who betrayed them and sent a portion of the Mother Flame to the Five Elders using the Sea Beast Weapons.
Later, Vegapunk decided to record a message, and the trigger for it was his death. His decision was a bit strange, but it proved that scientists were determined to find out the truth to the world. After recording the message, Vegapunk hid the transponder snail inside the Iron Giant, as he knew York would not easily detect it. In the end, Stellar, Shaka and Pythagoras erase their memories so that York cannot find out.
Vivi is still traveling with the Morgans
Another standout moment was watching Vivi reprimand the Morgans for lying and spreading propaganda. Vivi is always bold, so she doesn't hesitate to speak her mind. Despite receiving an earful from Vivi, Morgan was not affected by it. As the leader of World Journal, Morgans feels it's his job to churn out exciting news and share it with the public. He doesn't care if the news is fake or if it scares people. All he wants is publicity.

One Piece Episode 1155 will be released on December 28th, 2025. It is titled “The Promised Horizon – Off to the Long-Awaited Elbaf”. The episode will follow the Straw Hats as they continue their journey towards Elbaf, the land of monsters. Every member of the crew will be thrilled to leave Egghead Island in one piece. Usopp, in particular, will be excited to go to Elbaf, as he considers Dory and Broggy to be his teachers. Apart from him, Nico Robin will also be eager to land in Elbaf, as he is Jaguar D. She wants to meet Saul.
One Piece: The Last Straw Hat may have been confirmed by Oda, and it's not Loki
Who the last Straw Hat is is a big mystery in one piece, but it probably isn't Loki.
Aside from the Straw Hats, One Piece Episode 1155 will focus on Lilith and Bonney, who both suffered a lot in the Egghead arc. Lilith lost four of her closest friends, and there was nothing she could do about it. Meanwhile, Bonnie learns the harsh truth about Kuma's entire life, including how she abandoned her humanity. Bonnie was distraught after being bombarded with the truth, but she managed to exact revenge on Jaygarcia Saturn. Finally, Bonnie and Kuma can be together when they travel to Elbaf with the Straw Hat Pirates.
One Piece Episode 1155 will also shed light on Jaygarcia Saturn's future. As the god responsible for everything related to science and defense, Saturn will be held responsible by Emu, who clearly does not like failures. There is a chance that Jaygarcia Saturn will not be a part of the rest of the story, but it remains to be seen if this will be true.

One Piece Episode 1155 will be available to stream on Crunchyroll. The episode will have Japanese audio with English subtitles. Changes can be made later if fans are not comfortable with the language. It would be remiss not to mention that episode 1155 will be the last episode of the anime before it goes seasonal. Older fans will miss the format, especially since it's been running since 1999. However, this is the right decision, as it will give the studio more time to produce episodes and maintain high quality.
