Path of Radiance English Trailer

Four days ago, Nintendo shadow-dropped arguably the best and most accessible Fire Emblem game, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, exclusively available on Switch 2 as part of its Nintendo GameCube Classics program.

There was just one problem – there was no English trailer to be seen, let alone an acknowledgment on Nintendo of America's official channels.

Four days later, it seems that Nintendo is trying to rectify this, finally releasing a full English trailer on its YouTube channel, along with several posts on social media.

Again, it's unclear why Nintendo was behind the ball letting fans know about another entry in its highly-publicized Nintendo Classics program.

It's been such a long gap between Japan's revelations and America's that some have already beaten the game.

However, its absence was notable, leading some to believe that the company didn't care much about its GameCube Classic line or Fire Emblem.

The GameCube Classics have had a unique marketing push

“Upload 'Better Late Than',” read the top comment on the YouTube trailer.

That level of humor wasn't lost on Twitter, with one user writing, “Days later, and now, you finally released this trailer outside of the Switch 2 online app? Sheesh.”

That said, while Fire Emblem fans were particularly concerned about the lack of acceptance, it's been almost par for the course when it comes to the GameCube Classics program.

You'd be forgiven for not knowing that Wario World is also available. The game was revealed with a press release and a small trailer on the site. Prior to that, Luigi's Mansion was announced via a late-night trailer reveal.

Aside from the Wario World-class surprise release in between, the three games left to be released as part of the GameCube Classics are Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness, Pokemon Colosseum, and Mario Sunshine.

The former two could be featured as part of any Pokemon 30th anniversary celebration, but it's safe to assume that Sunshine's final inclusion will receive the same treatment that other games have had so far – nothing.
