Pokemon Legends: ZA It's been almost three months, and it's received a mixed reception based on its unexpected gameplay loop that includes a completely different battle style, an open world with wild zones to catch Pokemon, a long tutorial, and characters or stories that not everyone likes. As divisive as the game was, it's a great example of straying from the usual formula to create something new and refreshing. For this reason, Pokemon Gen 10 are bound to take inspiration from sports Pokemon Legends: ZAEven if only a little.
Pokemon Legends: ZA features at a glance
Pokemon Gen 10 Leaks Box Legendary Details
Details about what Pokemon has planned for Gen 10's box art Legendary Monsters have surfaced online as part of a large body of leaked information.
Pokemon Gen 10 is officially using some Pokemon Legends: ZA features
According to Pokemon Gen 10 leaks, there are already plans to use some of the features Pokemon Legends: ZA In the new games. These are subject to change, as the leaks are from the early stages of development, but it is interesting to note that it may have been developed with Gen 10. ZA In mind before it comes out.
Alpha Pokemon and Rogue Mega Evolutions, or similar boss battles, seem very likely additions to Gen 10. Pokemon Legend: ZA's character customization is also miles better than Gen 9's, so it's possible that Gen 10 will take inspiration from it, for example, by not making ZA a clothing-locked option.
Move real-time battles and cooldowns
A big item on the list is the change PokemonTurn-based combat in real-time battles, as it changes the way you think strategically. This type of combat also emphasizes the importance of position, which has historically been a secondary consideration, and it significantly changes the way momentum works. There are no longer speed levels and thresholds to hit to go first or ensure your Pokemon works ahead of the opponent, instead, all moves have reduced cooldowns based on how high the speed is.
There are no PPs Pokemon Legends: ZAAnd there is no purity either. Early Gen 10 leaks suggest that games may feature both turn-based combat and this new approach, so real-time combat could return to at least PvP, or possibly a specific game mode. This system also makes similar moves PokemonHyper Beam and its “clones” are much better and more rewarding to use, as opposed to turn-based combat.
Mega Evolution
Another leak suggests this Pokemon Gen 10 will have Mega Evolutions, as the early builds found in Teralek have a bag pocket for Mega Stones. This makes sense for a few reasons, since Mega Evolutions came back in Gen 7 despite being a Gen 6 gimmick, so there's a precedent, and Pokemon Legends: ZA's new mega evolution will only have a short time to shine before they are relegated Pokemon Champions.
Shiny hunt legendary and legendary Pokemon
Pokemon Legends: ZAThe DLC allows you to hunt shiny creatures like Latias, Latios, Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion. This is something that Gen 9 failed to do, to the point that players went back to Gen 8 to play through Dynamax Adventures to get Shiny Pokémon from the Legendary roster. Given how badly Gen 9's Indigo Disk DLC was received in regards to shiny-lock legendaries, it only makes sense for Gen 10 to fix this.
Roguelike DLC content and level cap
Pokemon Legends: ZAThe Mega Dimension DLC is a roguelike experience, as it features random hyperspace areas with random Pokemon inside them, and players have timers that depend on the donuts they craft. This gameplay loop isn't for everyone, but it's refreshing, and could be used more in Gen 10 games. The same goes for the increased level cap, which also depends on the donuts you've crafted, allowing your Pokemon to get past level 100 for a bigger and better feeling of progression once they reach the endgame.
