Pokemon Gen 10 Leaks Ride Mechanics, Scrapped Features, New Image

Pokemon Gen 10 details the games signature raid mechanic with a new image, and many features, including MMO-like, have reportedly been scrapped. With the big information drop from TeraLeak last year, fans assumed for this leak Pokemon Gen 10 and future games are out of the question, but in early October, a lot of new information appeared online. Since these leaks all come from the same source, along with official documents of GameFreak's internal development plans, it seems that the next set of games for the series have already revealed many features.

Although it is not clear what it is Pokemon Gen 10 will be the starters, since the only leaks about them are related to how players will get their first partner Pokemon, there are many other meaningful leaks, such as:

Although these were believed to be reliable leaks due to being part of the pitch for the Gen 10 games, it seems that the current build of the games has already changed significantly in various ways. No mention has been made of Gen 10's title Pokemon Wind and WaveBut some of the previous leaks may no longer be true.

Images shared online reportedly give players an early look at what the tenth generation of Pokemon games will look like when they launch.

Take a first look at Pokemon Gen 10's Ride Mechanic

If true, Centro Leaks has shared a new Gen 10 image on Twitter that shows what appears to be a Pokemon trainer using the new Rotom scooter. Pokemon Gen 8 Rotom Bike. The device will reportedly be used to travel across the map on land, and can be attached to Pokemon that have a so-called “energy belt”, which will allow Rotom Scooter to gain the traversal powers of those creatures. Flying Pokemon will let Rotom Scooter fly and glide, Water Pokemon will let it ride waves or go underwater, etc.

On top of that, some of the previous leaks are reportedly no longer accurate, e.g Pokemon The mechanics and scope have changed since Gen 10. Centro Leaks says that:

Pokemon Gen 10 was originally made up of exploration, MMO-like mechanics, and procedural generation.
- Procedural Generation was spun off into a separate project that was later scrapped and from which Pokopia was born.
- MMO-like features also seem to have been scrapped from Gen 10 and made into a separate project, a previously leaked MMO that spanned all regions from Gen 1 to Gen 4.
Pokemon Gen 10's ride mechanic won't be available to all Pokemon, as already stated, and Pokemon won't ride themselves.
- No mention of the ability to pet all Pokemon.
Pokemon The leaked build of Gen 10 includes a bag pocket for Mega Stones, it indicates Pokemon Legends: ZAMega Evolution can come back out Pokemon Champions. No Mega Stones were in the making though.

It's unclear at this stage what else may or may not have already changed, but it seems the setting and titles will remain, and so will weather moves and the core mechanics of the Switch 2 spec. Those same leaks state that no gyms will be present and that players will technically be able to face the game's final “boss” as soon as they leave the first island, thus enabling the credits to roll and “beating” the game. However, it seems that procedural production for islands and leaked “Seed Pokemon” will not be in Gen 10, and neither will the MMO-like features.
