Pokemon GO Reveals Gen 8 Pokemon Debut for April Event

Pokemon Go Silicobra and its development, Sandaconda, have confirmed their debut for the upcoming Sustainability Week event. 2026 has been a very active year Pokemon Go With many major events in a row since January. The AR title recently launched its 10th anniversary season, Memories in Motion, which is set to end on June 2. In the coming months, more monsters will add their own Pokemon Go Debuts, including galler ground-type.

Pokemon Go It has confirmed that its Sustainability Week 2026 event will debut the ground-type Silicobra and its evolution, the Sandaconda. The event will run from Tuesday, April 14th through Monday, April 20th. Silicobra will start spawning in the forest and can be evolved into Sandakonda by using 50 Silicobra Candy. Silicobra is a very popular snake Pokemon that was first discovered in Galar, so many players were expecting it. Pokemon Go Debut. The Sustainability Week event will also debut a glossy variant of the Toedscool and release the Galerian Corsola with pink sunglasses. but, Pokemon Go Does not specify whether or not a worn Corsola will be able to evolve into a Corsola. Galerian Corsola with Sunglasses will spawn more often in routes, as well as increased chances of Shiny Togetic, Shiny Trubis, and Shiny Lapras.

Event-themed Pokémon such as Castform, Seedot, Wiglett, Toedscool, and Silicobra can be encountered in the wild worldwide, but Pokemon Go Adds that the latter three will spawn more frequently in their natural biome. The game doesn't detail what type of environment Silicobra prefers, but it does indicate that the Pokémon is associated with “desert-like areas”. Additionally, an event-exclusive GO Pass will go live, which includes rewards like half the egg hatch distance and double XP from spinning PokeStops. Players who purchase GO Pass Deluxe can also get limited avatar poses. Finally, during Sustainability Week, the 7km Egg will spawn Lapras, Togepi, Common Castform, Trubis and Galerian Corsola with rose-colored glasses.
