Pokemon GO teases another Community Day event

Pokemon Go The game is officially teasing the next big Community Day event, hinting at Tinkatink as its featured Pokemon. The massively popular monster-catching mobile game has seen a number of exciting developments in recent weeks as the franchise kicks off its 30th anniversary celebrations with a mix of new and old creatures. Pokemon Go held its massive All Out event in early March, bringing back nearly every Pokémon added to the game as wild encounters. The mobile game also recently welcomed the newest edition of its popular Community Day events.

Pokemon GoCommunity Days have been a staple of the game's monthly calendar for nearly a decade, putting special creatures in the spotlight. Each iteration of the monthly event puts a Pokémon in a starring role during its weekend days, offering increased spawn rates and special charged attacks to evolve a particular Pokémon. Pokemon Go It recently held its March Community Day event, giving fans the chance to pick up the popular galler starter Scorby and its sparkling version. Now, on the heels of Community Day in March, Scopely is already gearing up fans for the April edition of the show.

Pokemon Go Officially shared a teaser for its next Community Day event via the game's social media accounts. The trailer doesn't directly show the Pokémon that will be included in April's Community Day, but instead gives a wide shot of a cave lit up by colorful gems. The video probably suggests that Tinkatink will be the spotlight for Pokemon Pokemon Go's next Community Day event, Gen 9 Pokemon were already teased during the ongoing Memories in Motion season reveal. Scopely has also confirmed the April 2026 Community Day date, officially scheduled to run on April 11.

Tinkatink is included as another special Pokemon Pokemon GoCommunity Day should excite a large number of fans. The April event will see increased spawn rates for both Tinkatink and its shiny version, with about a 1-in-25 chance of finding a Chinese. During the event, players will provide a powerful special charged attack to the Pokemon that evolves their Tinkatink into Tinkaton, possibly the best competitive option for this Pokemon. Community Days also bring benefits beyond special Pokemon, from increased Stardust and Catch XP to special research missions during the event.

Ahead of Tinkatink's Community Day, Pokemon Go Players are getting plenty of opportunities to add new Pokemon to their team. Scopely recently disclosed Pokemon Go's Spotlight Hours will return at the end of March, after initially being dropped from Memories in Motion's schedule. The mobile game will run a daily spotlight hour from March 31 to April 6, featuring a different Electric-type Pokémon for each day of the event. Scopely is also set to end March with the addition of a brand-new Gigantamax Pokemon on the last weekend of the month, welcoming the in-game debut of Gigantamax Pikachu.

Like Pokemon Go Celebrating its tenth anniversary, fans should have plenty to look forward to from the future of the game.
