Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening
Shirt off, gun out
Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening There was a prequel set before the first game, featuring a younger Dante in his early years as a monster hunter. That means more flexibility, more flexibility and less clothing because apparently, fighting monsters shirtless is a good idea. Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening Featuring incredible action just like the original game, with a good balance between air and gunplay.
New to the game were new forms that could change the way players approach combat, including the Trickster, Swordmaster, Gunslinger and Royal Guard. Switching between styles on the fly still feels great when it comes to action games, and for many fans, this is their favorite version of Dante, who is uncontrollable, so the game holds its own.
Dark clouds 2
Two hearts travel through time
Dark clouds 2 A masterpiece from Level-5, which is miraculous since it was only their second game overall. This was a big improvement over the original separating the playable characters into just two, Max and Monica, but giving them more complexity. Monica could use swords, magic, and turn into monsters, while Max used tools, guns, and mechs to control.
Weapons were leveled and evolved, which is still one of the best gear systems in an RPG. The time-travel elements were also interesting, with improved city-builder mechanics, and all of this is just surface-level praise. Thankfully, the game lives on through the PS4 port, which still looks great in HD on the PS5.

Jack 3 This is the last chapter in the main Jack and Daxter Games, which are one of a kind Mad Max The equivalent if it was a platformer. Jack and Daxter are exiled to a desert area where the law is laxly enforced, leading to further exploration and a battle between vehicles and on-foot shooting. Car combat was a nice addition, and the overall difficulty balance was fixed in the second game, which was largely considered one of the hardest on the PS2.
10 PS2 Games That Felt Like Perfect Masterpieces in 2004
22 years ago, these ten games wowed PlayStation 2 owners to the point where many are still talking about them today.
Because it was a more arid area, the environment had less variety, but it was still an interesting game to explore thanks to solid mechanics. The more mature story ended on a good note, and as always, Daxter was the MVP thanks to his constant gags.
Kingdom Hearts 2
Bounce around Disney Worlds
Kingdom Hearts 2 Despite Roxas' slow start, fans consider it the best in the series. With Sora back in control, smooth travel through the old and new Disney worlds Beauty and the Beast who Mulan. More original characters and a deeper connection through Organization 13 final fantasy Even won over diehard Square Enix fans.
The platforming was better, the combat was more engaging with the new transformations, and the list could go on. Visually, the HD version looks as good as any modern 3D animated movie because it has style rather than actual state-of-the-art graphics, but the PS2 build is also amazing.

There really is no game like it OkamiAs was the DS sequel, albeit on a lesser platform. Players assumed the role of a wolf that was the incarnation of the sun god, Amaterasu. Through questing a ZeldaLike fashion, players will unlock new celestial powers used in combat and puzzle situations.
For example, at any time, players can pause time to detonate enemies in battle or draw with an ethereal brush to create a bomb that can crack open walls. Other powers included drawing on certain objects to be repaired, such as bridges. The cel-shaded painterly style holds up on the PS2 and looks sharper in HD, too, and in many ways, Okami Holds up well as more of an action-adventure game Zelda Titles.
Onimusha 3: Demon Siege
Viva la France
Onimusha 3: Demon Siege Still the most ambitious and wild entry Onimusa series, featuring time travel between Japan's feudal era and the then-present setting of France. Samanosuke, the protagonist of the first game, is transported to France, while Jack, the policeman portrayed by actor Jean Reno, is transported back in time to Japan.
8 Late PS2 RPGs Nobody Remembers
Even after the launch of the next generation of consoles, many RPGs were released on the PS2 and soon after were completely forgotten.
Together, they must save these worlds from monsters to stop a plot to destroy the world and return to their own timeline. Between the swordplay, whip-play, and slight shooting mechanics, there isn't a more interesting game in the series, and, unfortunately, it's still stuck on the PS2.
Spectacular Joe
The Lone Red Ranger
Spectacular Joe Originally a GameCube exclusive before getting a PS2 port with enhancements, such as Dante cried the devil Appearing as a secret character. Sans Dante, the game is a great superhero parody while also being a good adventure in its own right. An ordinary movie fan, Joe, gets a special Power Rangers-like suit when his favorite movie comes to life, giving him superhuman speed and control over time.
Players can slow down or speed up their punches, and depending on the enemy, these attacks will exploit weaknesses. The first two core games are great as 2D brawlers, and it's surprising that no one other than Capcom has attempted this style of combat, and sadly, both games are stuck on outdated hardware.
Field of the Enders: Second Runner Up
Jehuti and blowfish
Most mech games focus on giving players the power fantasy to control large, heavy-duty mechs. Some may have speed, but the weight is usually behind the controls, no matter where they are Field of the Enders: Second Runner Up Different because it was designed around Mech, Zehuti, speed and dexterity in the air.
Players can attack enemies with homing lasers, hit them with swords, or grab objects in the environment. The story, while sometimes cheesy, will resonate with metal gear As Hideo Kojima fans helped produce the game. It's also a very short game, which can be completed in about two hours, and with the HD version, there's no reason not to play it on a good night.
