The movie world was shocked this morning by the news that both Rob Reiner and his wife Michelle Singer were found dead in their LA home. The dead couple's son Nick has been arrested in connection with their deaths after claims he may be responsible.

Nick Reiner has been arrested for his role in the alleged murders of his father, Rob Reiner, and his mother, Michelle Singer, the BBC reported. Nick was arrested Sunday night and charged with a felony-level offense in the early hours of Monday morning, according to LASD Inmate Center records.
Emergency services were called to Rob and Michelle's home on Sunday afternoon, and the two were pronounced dead at the scene. The LAPD confirmed that the death was a suspected homicide, but it wasn't until news of Nick's arrest was confirmed that a suspect could be responsible for the alleged murder.
Nick is one of three children Rob and Michelle have together. The 32-year-old previously worked with his father on Being Charlie in 2017. Nick co-wrote the project, and his father directed it. The story revolves around a teenager struggling with drug addiction and homelessness and is inspired by Nick's own battles.

Ever since the news of his death came out on Monday morning, tributes have been pouring in for Rainer. Although he made notable screen appearances on TV shows such as New Girl and All in the Family, Reiner's most iconic work was as a director with his many credits including The Princess Bride and This Is Spinal Tap.
Fellow actor/director Ben Stiller took to Twitter to pay tribute to Reiner. “Rob Reiner was one of my favorite directors. He made some of the most creative films of my generation… Spinal Tap is one of the best comedies ever made—and the list goes on. He was a kind and caring person who was really funny,” writes Stiller.
Monty Python star Eric Idol also took to social media to share his thoughts about Reiner, saying he spoke to her recently on Saturday night and they discussed her plans for the future.
