Kim Chul managed to escape from the Ice Elves and made his way to a forest overrun by Ice Bears. Hunter is shocked to see all the Ice Bears dead. He thought the ice elves had killed them. Fearing for his safety, Kim Chul fled the scene and returned to the forest. After searching for some time, the A-Rank Hunter found Han and the rest of Sung Jin-Woo's allies. He became enraged when he saw low-ranking hunters with good gear and food. He decides to punish them, but Sung Jin-woo manages to intervene before the A-rank hunter can hurt his allies.

Sung Jin-Woo is fighting the Ice Elves

After putting an end to Kim Chul's efforts, Sung Jin-woo had to tend to another serious matter. He noticed that the ice elves touched them, so he asked them to show themselves. Ice elves do not speak human language, which made it impossible for everyone to understand them. Surprisingly, Sung Jin-woo was able to understand them, so he started talking to the leader of the Ice Elves. The latter revealed that the Ice Elves hunted humans because the voices in their heads told them so. However, when Sung comes to Jin-woo he does not hear the voice, indicating that the hero is no longer human. Sung Jin-woo was curious and asked the leader who he really was. This time, the Ice Elf's words became unintelligible.

Eventually, the leader of the Ice Elves asked Sung Jin-woo to hand them over to the humans, which request was later denied. Sung Jin-woo wasted no time in summoning the fallen Ice Bear and the other soldiers. As they handled the regular ice elves, the hero went toe-to-toe with their leader, who introduced himself as Barsa. The two exchanged blows, making Sung Jin-Woo realize that Barcelona needed more power to defeat him.

Fortunately for the hero, he has the opportunity to turn Kim-chul into a fallen soldier, whom he names Iron. Sung Jin-woo knew he had to go all out to beat Barcelona. The trio kept Barça on their toes, and they didn't give him an inch. However, the three of them were still unable to find the door that would seal the Ice Elf's fate. Sung Jin-Woo used his intelligence and ability to catch Barcelona off guard and injure him. As the battle progressed, Sung Jin-woo's chances of victory increased. After a fierce battle, Barca was finally brought down by the Iron Arms.

After beating the ice elf, Sung Jin-woo wanted to turn him into a shadow soldier, but he was unable to do so. Frustrated, he left the red door with only Barcelona's weapons. Baek Yongho confronted him as he exited the gate. The S-rank hunter wanted the other members of the White Tiger Guild to know what happened inside the gate. Before things escalate, Sung Jin-woo walks away after reminding Dek that he saved two members of the White Tiger Guild. The S-Rank Hunter admitted his mistake and allowed Sung Jin-Woo to walk. Before leaving, Baek Yoonho tells Ahn to recruit a hero into the White Tiger Guild at all costs.

Solo Leveling Season 2 Episode 3 will be released on January 18, 2025. The episode is titled “Still a Long Way to Go”. From the preview images, it's clear that Sung Jin-woo will feature heavily in the new episode. He is seen fighting a new enemy in a terrain filled with fire. A still shows Chae Hae-in in a swimsuit, perhaps training to improve her physical abilities.

Another preview image for Solo Leveling Season 2 Episode 3 shows off a new character. It will be interesting to see who this person is and what role they play.
