Quenetra: Damascus held a mourning ceremony in the city of Qunetra on Tuesday for 12 children killed in the nearby Israeli-occupied Golan Heights in a strike Israel blamed on its Syrian ally Hezbollah. Dozens of Syrians wearing traditional white Druze hats took part in the event in a tent outside a government building in the town of Qunetra – a few hundred meters from the Golan Heights, which Israel has occupied since 1967.
