The 5 Strongest Ancient Saiyans, Ranked

Saiyans have the most interesting histories and backstories Dragon Ball. A barbaric race of the strongest fighters in the universe, the Saiyans of Universe 7 were subdued by King Cold and joined his army as mercenaries dedicated to wiping out entire species and selling their planets for profit. Under Frieza, the Saiyans saw so much success, that Frieza feared their potential and the Super Saiyan legend, causing him to destroy Planet Vegeta.

While inside the Saiyan Dragon Ball Z Introduced as evil warriors working with Frieza to seal their own destiny, life was different for the ancient Saiyans. Little is known about ancient Saiyans, and the few that do exist come from non-canon Dragon Ball Spin-offs. That said, some Ancient Saiyan Dragon Ball Goku and Vegeta are presented as surprisingly strong, with base power levels far above what Vegeta was capable of. DBZ.

Squash wins the Ancient Saiyan tournament

An unlockable character in an underrated 3DS JRPG Dragon Ball FusionSkwash was an Ancient Saiyan who once competed in a tournament against other Ancient Saiyans and eventually won, being crowned the champion. Skwash still wears his championship belt (much like Earth's Mr. Satan), and is able to transform Super Saiyan after grinding to Lv. 99.

Squash has no love for modern-day Saiyans, and is actually particularly ashamed of Vegeta for teaming up with Vegeta and allowing their race to be captured and eventually destroyed. In terms of power level, Skwash is stronger than Frieza was during the Namek Saga, but not comparable to Cell Games' Super Perfect Cell.

Yamoshi was the first Super Saiyan

Introduced in Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the GodsYamoshi is the original legendary Super Saiyan. Yamoshi first became a Super Saiyan by rebelling against the evil Saiyans of his era, and is also implied to be the original Super Saiyan God by using the God Ritual with five other pure-hearted Super Saiyans to unlock God Ki.

There is an idea in the fandom that Yamoshi is extremely strong, but all evidence suggests otherwise. While unlocking Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan God is no small feat, Yamoshi was not strong enough to contain either form and was eventually killed in a mass effort by the evil Saiyans he was desperately trying to defeat. That said, he is definitely strong in his own right and was the strongest Ancient Saiyan of his time.

Shalott is a descendant of Yamoshi and has the power to prove it

Shallot is the main character of the mobile game Dragon Ball Legendsand a direct descendant of Yamoshi. Over the course of the game (and due to time travel shenanigans), Shalott trains under several different Saiyans and unlocks several Super Saiyan forms. Shalott currently has access to Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan 2, Super Saiyan 3, Super Saiyan God, and Super Saiyan Blue.

After training with Goku, Super Saiyan Blue Shallot becomes strong enough to fight and defeat Bergamo, the strongest member of the Trio de Dangers. Dragon Ball Super. SSB Shallot is also powerful enough to fight a version Dragon Ball SuperBroly who has been enhanced through the Dark Key. Power level wise, Shalott is on the same level as Golden Frieza in the Tournament of Power.

Giblet is Shallot's stronger twin brother

Saiyan in Red, Giblet is Shalot's twin brother Dragon Ball Legends. While he has yet to unlock Super Saiyan Blue, Giblet is often depicted as being a step ahead of Shalott and is generally stronger than his brother. After Shalott unlocks the Super Saiyan God through the God Ritual, Giblet shows Shalott that he has already unlocked the form himself (presumably through brute force like Vegeta).

Giblet also has access to the unique Super Saiyan God (Dark Ki: Unleashed) form, putting him on par with Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken x20 Goku. SSG(DK:U) Giblet is so strong, he is even able to defeat Sin Shenron, a powerful villain. Dragon Ball GT And a much stronger character than Shallot had beaten. Even with Super Saiyan Blue, Shalot may not be able to defeat Super Saiyan God (Dark Key: Unleashed) Giblet.

Comber is one of the strongest Saiyans in all of Dragon Ball

A non-canon character from Super Dragon Ball HeroesComber is the strongest Ancient Saiyan in the series and may honestly be the most powerful Saiyan as far as base power levels go. Even in his base form, Comber was stronger than Jiren during the Tournament of Power and is implied to be strong enough to fight Beerus. Base Comber is even stronger than Super Saiyan God Goku.

In his Super Saiyan form, Comber defeated Super Saiyan 4 Goku and Vegeta at the same time, forcing them to use Potara and fuse into Vegito. When Comber was finally defeated by Super Saiyan 4 Vegito, he put up a serious fight and came very close to defeating Fusion at several different points. In terms of potential, Cumber could very well end up being the strongest character Dragon Ball.
