While Battlefield 6 has enjoyed a pretty incredible launch, it's certainly not perfect. Most Battlefield players have come to the game for its multiplayer options, but issues with XP progression and how long it takes before you start unlocking some of the game's useful attachments have been sticking points for some. DICE has listened to those complaints and detailed how it plans to address them.
In a lengthy post shared via the BattlefieldComms Twitter account, Dice explained how it plans to try and fix those issues with an upcoming update it plans to roll out soon, though it didn't put an exact date on it. In an effort to help players earn XP even faster, once the next update goes live, you'll receive An additional 10 percent XP for each game you completeAnd a big one 40 percent bump in XP earned through your daily bonus.
The Battlefield 6 update will help you unlock “useful attachments” twice as fast
That alone will help reduce the effort required to initiate unlocks, which even the Battlefield team admit are “useful attachments” to the game. Since you need XP to unlock those attachments, the ability to rack them up quickly will get you to them quickly. To get you those useful attachments even faster, the amount of XP you need to earn them is being dropped, meaning you'll get them almost twice as fast as you've been getting them.
Another big change on the horizon will address complaints about the levels you have to hit to unlock certain assignments. Instead of grinding until you reach levels 20, 23, and 26, Unlocking assignments will drop to 10, 15, and 20 as you hit those levels.Gradually, allowing you to start and finish them much sooner.
Dice has also heard your complaints about the difficulty of the challenges involved in those tasks, but notes that implementing those changes will take too much development time.
The overall goal here, as addressed in today's update notes, is not only to provide a better gameplay experience for the millions of you playing Battlefield 6, but also to prevent players from setting up servers that are being used exclusively for farming XP. On top of making it easier to earn XP, which prevents many players from feeling the need to farm it, Dice plans to clamp down on servers set up specifically to farm XP, as they are taking up server space that could be used by players playing Battlefield.
