Southeast of Hernand is the Spire of Insight, a giant tower with some things inside. You'll find a crafting manual for ranged weapons on a bookshelf on the first floor. To enter the pinnacle of insight Crimson DesertUse Blinding Flash or any fire-based attack to burn the thorn bushes blocking the entrance, then when you reach the front door, pick up a rock from the ground and place it in the door basin.
By reading this crafting manual, you'll unlock a bunch of bows craftable at any blacksmith in the world. At this point, it's all about getting the crafting materials and making the ones you like the most.
It's worth noting that Kliff's starting bow is actually pretty good once upgraded. You still need to unlock its Abyss Gear sockets and find the actual Abyss Gears to make it more worthwhile.

It is hidden inside the bow Underground dungeon at Silver Wolf Mountainwhich is north of Hernand. Behind the north gate of Pailune is the Valgrind Tomb, a small POI that is nothing more than a resting place for someone important. Make your way inside, then look for a small hole in the wall to your right. Crouch and enter the hole to find a chest containing a Noble Man's Bow.
Stat-wise, it's similar to the Gold-Noted Ancestral Bow, except it comes with the Maliseben Abyss gear, which increases damage against powerful enemies (ie bosses) by a small percentage. Again, you can extract this gear by visiting a witch, then embed it into another weapon.
