It's still a great couch co-op game, but the option to play online is there. The diverse range of characters is even better than in the first game, as there are villains to play as, such as Magneto, Juggernaut, and many others. Once players find their favorite four X-Men, they can keep playing as them to maximize their level or switch it up on a mission-to-mission basis. Overall, it's a very pulpy story that doesn't move players, but is enough to keep the fighting action and the diverse lineup of X-Men characters.
