At $169.99, Luigi & Mach 8 is among the 10 most expensive LEGO sets in the Super Mario line, tying the 72037 Mario for sixth place and the standard cart. Launching in the summer of 2025, Mario and the standard cart have the same price tag and come in the same form factor, but it's significantly smaller, with its 1,972-piece count being about 13% fewer pieces than the recently announced set. Luigi & Mach 8 is the seventh LEGO set to date to feature Luigi, and the most expensive of the bunch. Fittingly, it has more pieces (89) than the other six combined.
