The Pokemon Company showed off the new Munikis Zero set coming to Japan's Pokemon TCG, teasing Mega Zygarde along with several other cards. Mega Zygarde ex will serve as the spotlight Pokemon for the set, featuring powerful attacks that reduce the opponent's damage or potentially deal up to 900 damage. Mega Zygarde wasn't the only new X Pokemon shown during the livestream, Meowth allowing former players to search their decks for supporter cards. New cards for Binacle and Barbaracle were also shown during the event, looking to provide some powerful energy support for Fighting-type decks. The Pokemon TCG's Munikis Zero expansion will be released in Japan on January 23rd.
The reveal for Munikis Zero was joined by a collection of powerful trainer cards coming to the new Pokemon TCG. Based on two new pro cards Pokemon Legends: ZA Characters will join the game, with Naveen allowing players to reset their hand while Tarragon recycles fighting Pokémon and Energies from the discard pile.
