An industry leaker said that PS5 Sony may have deeper discounts for Black Friday than it has already shown, including a possible discount on the PS5 Pro console with a disc drive for a limited time. A digital version of the previously announced PS5 Fortnite Flowering Chaos Bundle was also claimed to be among Sony's upcoming offerings.
The rumors come a day after Sony officially unveiled the Fortnite Flowering Chaos PS5 console bundle for Black Friday, which will arrive no later than November 22 on PlayStation Direct. It will also be available at other retailers starting November 26. The Fortnite Flowering Chaos Bundle includes a standard PS5 console with disc drive, a DualSense controller, 1,000 V-Boxes, and a voucher for various Flowering Chaos cosmetics for use in modes like LEGO Fortnitevaltisti and Fetnitevaltisti. This new 2025 Black Friday PS5 bundle is rumored to cost $449, $100 off the current $549 price tag, while supplies last.

With Black Friday just days away, a known industry leaker claims that Sony may reveal some additional discounts for the holiday shopping season. According to a report by Billbil-kun at Dealabs , the Fortnite Flowering Chaos PS5 bundle could get a digital-only option that drops the disc drive for a discount from €499 to €349 in Europe. Additionally, the PS5 Pro, which currently sits at €799, could see a €100 price drop to €699 for Black Friday. Previous versions of the standard PS5, both with and without a disc drive, will be discounted to €449 and €349 respectively. Therefore, all PS5 consoles can see a €100 minimum discount in Europe on Black Friday.
Of course, it remains to be seen whether these rumored discounts will be implemented at the same rates in the US as in other countries. However, any discounts will come at a convenient time for US-based consumers. Due to tariffs on various goods from countries such as China where Sony operates production, the price of the current PS5 console lineup jumped by $50 across the board, with the PS5 Pro landing at $749 MSRP in the US.
If the PS5 Pro is part of Sony's 2025 Black Friday deals in the US, the discount will bring the PS5 Pro below its previous MSRP of $699. As of this writing, Sony has not officially released any Black Friday deals outside of this Fortnite Flowering Chaos PS5 bundle, so all rumors should be taken with a good grain of salt.
