Yonko commanders are the most powerful people in the New World a piece. Zoro, Sanji, and Jinbe are the only commander-level pirates within the Straw Hat Pirates, but now in the Elbaf arc, Oda has ensured that Franky Yonko becomes a commander-level pirate as well. Thanks to Vegapunk's Omni-Drain Converters giving him a new power-up, the ship pilot has risen to a whole new level where he can fight against monstrously powerful commanders and take them down. Frankie's new power-ups make him incredibly strong, and what's more, his evolution will continue further down the line in the final saga.

How did Franky get to Yonko Commander level in Elbaf?
Franky reached Yonko Commander level in the Elbaf arc a pieceAgainst all odds. Many fans didn't even expect him to get a huge power-up in this arc, but he certainly did after Vegapunk demonstrated the technology of the Omni-Drain Converters. Essentially, these omni-drain converters can be used to convert natural energy into consumables that can provide said energy to a person. VegaPunk used omni-drain converters in the fires that consumed the owl library and the walrus school. These flames then turned into Super Vega Cola, which Frankie ate giving him incredible powers.
Franky could jump so high that he reached hundreds of meters into the sky. His muscles were almost bursting with energy, and a single punch from him was so strong that it took out the Lindworm and scaled up Jinbei's strongest technique, the Vagabond Drill. Apparently, the Straw Hat ship pilot is comparable to Jinbe in terms of overall power, which officially puts him at Yonko Commander level.
How does the power of the Franks compare to the strongest emperor commanders?
There are many powerful commanders in the world of One Piece, and Frankie is now among them. Compared to most powerful, Frankie is probably not at that level. For example, he won't be able to beat Katakuri or King, or even Ben Beckman. However, lower level Yonko commanders like Jack or Cracker should now be beatable for him.

Frankie is already a monstrously powerful person with his new Super Vega Cola power-up. However, if he learns to consciously control Haki, he can become even stronger. In the Egghead arc, he may have used Haki subconsciously while fighting against Mars, but it is clear that he does not yet have control over this ability. In the final saga of One Piece, especially when he's up against the World Government, Frankie may go on to tap into Haki's power. When he does that, his overall skills take it to a whole new level. At the end of a piece, Franky must establish himself as the strongest cyborg. His body is already comparable to the likes of the Pacifistas, but considering he can use Super Vega Cola and Hawkeye later in the row, he will surely surpass the likes of all the Pacifistas. He is also equipped with Kizaru's laser, so his overall offensive abilities will be at a much higher level, especially when augmented with Super Vega Cola and Haki. Franky should be able to become as strong as the most powerful Yonko commanders a piece the world By the end of the story, he should be strong enough to fight against the likes of Katakuri and the King, as expected of someone on the future Pirate King's crew.
