While Marathon has passed Ark Raiders On the Steam top seller chart, it still has some big shoes to fill. Fortunately, it seems that Bungie is aware of some of the stress points that players are experiencing after the game's recent server slam and plans to make adjustments. One of the biggest gripes experienced by players is with the game's UI, which can be confusing to navigate. There are specific gameplay features that have had some friction with players as well. Namely, the heat generation system of the marathon, which builds up over time and inhibits the athlete's actions such as sprinting and ventilation when full. Bungie has indicated that it is aware of player feedback and is looking into the system and others. As a live-service game, Bungie will include quality-of-life improvements over time after the game's release.
