LONDON: The UK government on Saturday urged its citizens in Lebanon to leave the country immediately amid fears of an all-out war between Israel and Hezbollah and a wider regional conflict. In a statement, the Foreign Office said British nationals should leave the Middle Eastern country “now that commercial options are available.” “Tensions are high, and the situation could deteriorate rapidly,” Foreign Minister David Lamy said.
