Developer Illfonic has provided more details on what to expect from its upcoming release Halloween 1-vs-4 multiplayer game. Fans of the legendary horror movie series will recognize some of Michael Myers' abilities as he scares and terrorizes his way through the Haddonfield neighborhood. As seen in the trailer, Michael Myers is designed to feel like a constant threat, able to stalk and apply pressure throughout the game as he hunts down every living soul in Haddonfield. The Michael player will also receive enhanced rewards for killing specific civilian targets within a specified time limit.
As Michael, players will have access to abilities such as Killer Sense, which literally puts the player inside a mask, complete with heavy breathing to drown the player. The skill gives the assassin high awareness, allowing them to build stock. The more stacks a player builds, the easier it is for them to track their goals, and the more detailed executions they can access. Light is one of a citizen's most powerful defenses against an assassin. They can also contact local authorities, which can make it difficult for Michael Myers to get around. Once the residents of Haddonfield have been safely evacuated, it's time for the players to take their leave. Interestingly, if a player is killed by Michael, they will still have a chance to influence the outcome of the game. Players can play with their friends as sheriff's deputies or Dr. could return to help out as Loomis, who fans of the movie will no doubt recognize. If the stealth doesn't come out, players can band together to kill Michael with melee weapons, though it seems pure evil isn't so easily defeated.
