WASHINGTON: A newly confirmed famine in a sprawling camp for people displaced by war in Sudan's Darfur region is growing out of control as the country's fighters block aid, threatening to be bigger and deadlier than the world's last major famine 13 years ago. Officials issued the warning on Friday.
