The map itself is fairly linear, but if you're looking for all the Tomes and Grimoires in Reik's Return, you might have a hard time considering how well they're hidden. In this guide for Vermintide 2We're going to go over how to get each of the Tomes and Grimoires for this map to save you some time and effort.
Warhammer Vermintide 2: Convocation of Decay Tome and Grimoire locations
Warhammer Vermintide 2 has some improbably hidden books in Convocation of Decay if players don't already know their locations.
Return to Reik Tome #1
The start of the first tome mission is near. Follow the shoreline, and hug the left side until you reach the waterfall. There is a sign that leads to a troll cave. Follow the sign and enter the troll cave. You'll find a pile of bones and bodies in the middle, and in it are a bunch of supplies and the first tome in Return to the Wreck.
You'll also find a Bile Troll, which you should be able to easily take out if someone on the team is using a strong boss-killing class like a Bounty Hunter or Grail Knight.
Return to Reik Tome #2
Continue your normal path through the mission until you're done Reach a large cave that you need to open. Place the barrel in the entrance while the Skaven fight off, then proceed to the open area in the image above. is the second tome of the mission Inside a chest stuck in a crevice on the side of the path. Make your way around the cave, then when you reach the marked area, turn around and jump up the narrow passage to reach the chest.
Return to Reik Tome #3 and Grimoire #1
The mission is the final tome and the first grimoire In a house in the forest near the river bank. Once you've cleared the cave, fight your way through the Rotblood camp to get home. You can destroy the boards blocking the entrance to the house with your weapon, but before you do that, first go to the ledge and find a tunnel blocked by chains. Inside is a key that you'll need later.
After getting the key, return to the house and look for a hatch in the floor. Use the key to open it, then go down the stairs. The first Grimoire is on an altar.
Once you grab the grimoire, head to the second floor of the house. You'll find the final tome under a bed.
Back to Reik Grimoire #2
The second and final Grimoire is found on a Skaven ship. To get there, you'll need to board a shadowship anchored next to a rundown house, then fight enemy ships until you get a chance to board a Skaven ship.
Once one of the Skaven tries to board your ship, board them instead. Next, turn right, then look for the grimoire stuck on the ceiling near the ship's chimney.
That's it for all the tomes and grimms back in the rake. At the end of the game, you'll have great odds of getting the best gear Vermintide 2.
