In Circuit Arcadia, the main hub area High in life 2Players will encounter a curious purple-skinned alien standing next to a red button. When they approach, the alien will present them with a simple choice: press the red button, and he will give you money, but someone random in the universe will give his life in exchange, or press the button and give nothing.
Is the alien bluffing? Will he give you money at the push of a button? And someone you know will die as a result of the decision to push the button? This guide covers all the possible outcomes of pressing the red button and what you should or shouldn't do.

Where to find the red button on hi in Life 2?
Red button location
The red button can be found on the NPC Circuit Arcadia City PlazaDirectly in front of Circuit Arcadia Mall, next to cream colored cars and near palm trees. He will stand behind a dark brown standing table with a red button in front of him.
As you approach, he'll shout to get your attention, promising you an interesting moral dilemma to ponder. It is up to you to engage him or not. In total, the red button NPC will present its choices to you three separate times to increase the amount of cash.
What if you hit the red button for 500 pesos in Life 2?
When you first talk to the alien standing next to the red button, he will offer you the following choice:
- Press the red button: Someone random in the world will die, but you will get 500 pesos.
- Do not press the red button: No one will die, but you won't get any money.
Should you press the red button for 500 pesos in Life 2?
Yes, you should. If you press the red button for 500 pesos, you will get the promised cash from aliens, and he'll tell that someone random in the world has died. Soon after, you will receive a call from your sister Lizzie that Jean, your former handler and friend, is dying. However, this turns out to be a false alarm, and Jean will be fine.

What if you hit the red button for a million pesos in Life 2?
To get the second encounter, fast travel through Circuit Arcadia to reset the area. When you return, you'll find the red button NPC in the exact same location.
When you talk to the red button alien a second time, he will offer you the following choice:
- Press the red button: Someone random in the world will die, but you will get 1,000,000 pesos.
- Do not press the red button: No one will die, but you won't get any money.
Should you hit the red button for 1,000,000 pesos in Life 2?
It doesn't matter. If you press the red button, you will immediately receive a million pesos but it will be taken away from you soon. Unlike last time, the random person who dies isn't so random. Immediately after pressing the button, the Gatlion you currently have equipped will begin to display signs of death, indicating that it is their life that you must give in exchange for money.
Upon seeing this, the red button NPC will offer you a second option:
-
Press the second red button in front of you to reverse the previous decision.
-
Press the second red button and place one million pesos.
Although it is presented as a choice, it is actually mandatory that you choose the first option. The game forces you to save your gun's life and give it back by preventing you from walking away from the red button, essentially reversing the first decision. There is no way to keep 1,000,000 pesos.

What if you hit the red button for ten million pesos in Life 2?
To get the third encounter, fast travel through Circuit Arcadia to reset the area (same as the previous example). When you return, you'll find the red button NPC in the exact same location.
When you talk to the red button alien for the third time, he will offer you the following choice:
- Press the red button: Someone random in the world will die, but you will get 10,000,000 pesos.
- Do not press the red button: No one will die, but you won't get any money.
Should you hit the red button for 10,000,000 Pesos in Life 2?
It doesn't matter. Regardless of whether you press the red button or not, you will not receive the 10,000,000 pesos.. This is because as soon as the button is pressed, the alien behind the table will press and die, meaning that the person who was supposed to give you money is a random person who got the short end of the proverbial stick.
Interestingly, if you walk behind the table and actually look at the “dead” alien's face, you will see that his eyes are actually blinking, indicating that he is probably alive. You can use your Gatlians to shoot this NPC, but no matter how many bullets you shoot into his skull, he'll continue to play dead so he won't give you ten million pesos. There is no way to raise money.
The next time you return to this location, the alien and his red button will disappear. Additionally, there are no achievements or trophies attached to this encounter, so whatever you choose, there are no lasting consequences. The most you can get from this interaction by pressing the red button for the first time is 500 pesos.
