Tungsten plates are one of the many intermediate materials that players will need to mass produce StarRupture. These are required for many high-level product requests, and they are necessary to upgrade your status with the initial few corporations. Unlike basic wolfram bars, however, wolfram plates can't be manufactured instantly, and if you haven't upgraded your status with other corporations, you may not be able to unlock the recipe for it either. How to get Wolfram Plates in StarRupture
The first thing you need to do to start making Wolfram Plates is to unlock its recipe, which can be found at the recipe station. The latter is Unlocked by reaching level 2 with Moon Energy Corporation.
The recipe station contains recipes for a variety of items, including industrial components such as ceramics and food. Once you've built one at your base, interact with it, then press the Fabricator icon. This will expand the list of unlockable recipes for the Fabricator building, including Wolfram Plates.
The Wolfram Plates recipe is unlocked by entering the following:

Crafting 600 Wolfram Bars will take some time, but you can always expand your production to make things go faster. There is a large area of tungsten ore to the east of the starting area, and it is rich enough for several tungsten-based production lines. Set up some ore extractors and smelters there, and you'll have enough tungsten bars in no time.
As for data points, you can get a lot by exploring the map. Grab every plant you find, and when the vermin appear, make sure to loot them for parts that you can surrender to the analysis station. To get the most data points, try to find the abandoned bases scattered around the planet. They typically have containers with objects that go into hundreds or thousands of data points when analyzed.
Even crashed drones have many data points of value. You can find them on your map by activating nearby geoscanners (if any are available).
Once you unlock the Wolfram Plates recipe StarRuptureAll you need to do now is set up a production line with an Ore Extractor, a Smelter, and a Fabricator. Set later to produce tungsten plates, and connect it to a large logistics network with some orbital cargo launchers or storage depots.
