You're doing most of the main story fighting inside Sung Jinwoo Solo Leveling: Wake Up OverdriveBut a smart team structure using only the strongest hunters you can recruit can be the difference between life and succeeding in your mission, or death and being made to try again.
Each Hunter in Solo Leveling: Arise Overdrive brings something unique to the table that they specialize in and the solo combat role they play when placed on your team. Spend your hard-earned Hunt Coins only on powerful single levels: wake up overdrive hunters and power up.
With Lee Joohee, Song Chiyul, and Yoo Jinho unlocking by default through story progression in chapters one and two, we've removed them from the list. These are hunters that you need to contract with for work after finishing the third chapter of the main story.

An S-Rank Hunter, if you're a single level fan, Choi Jong-In needs no introduction. He's the strongest hunter in the series, and you'll see Sung Jinwoo surprise you when you first meet him in the Player Hub. Despite being one of the tougher negotiations, it's worth its weight in Infamous Hunter Hunt coins.
That's because Choi Jong-In has one of the highest base attack stats you'll find of any Hunter in the game, and with him serving as a Mage in combat, you'll have plenty of opportunities for damage output.
Not only does Choi Jong-In have really good AoE damage, but compounding the burn damage he can do using his fire skills and crisping up enemies while fielding them is one of his specialties.

Amamiya Mirei will already be familiar to you if you're a fan of manhwa since Solo Leveling Arise received a spinoff volume. Not only is this Wind Assassin alone in combat, but unlocking the second Hunter in Wu Jinchul makes the duo unstoppable.
You can expect to see great burst damage from Amamiya Mirei when she's on the field, and her super armor makes her too tricky to hit in any meaningful way when enemies are counterattacking. She's canonically ready for battle at the drop of a hat, and she'll show you what she can bring to your team comps.

As mentioned above in Amamiya Mirei's entry on the list of the best recruitable hunters you can spring in Solo Leveling: Arise Overdrive, you'll find that Wu Jinchul is almost a perfect match for the aforementioned Wind Assassin. On its own, though, you'll find plenty of uses for Woo Jinchul on the field.
With such impressive shielding and breaking abilities, he's absolutely essential when the enemy is down and distracted to allow other teammates to come in and attack if you're looking to make any meaningful defense breaks. He's a good pairing for any wind character, but with Amamiya Mireise is where you'll see him shine the most.

Although you need to be familiar with the very heavy-handed playstyle of a character like Baek Yoonho, especially if you use him in Co-Op Play mode, you'll find no shortage of impressive moves and skills in this light fighter.
Not only does Baek Yoonho have very good DPS compared to other characters in his class, you'll also find that he himself is indestructible. He's got an amazing defensive stance that pairs well with his heavy DPS, allowing him to get up close and personal with enemies he takes out before wiping them out by hand.

The easiest negotiation to face of any of the characters that make the cut for our list of strongest hunters in solo leveling: Get up, Nam Chae-young is a great addition to the team no matter who you bring in. She is an aqua aqua user who is able to safely distance herself from the action to protect herself.
Single Level: Viewing Sequence
Solo Leveling is a hit among recent anime series. If you need a watch ordering guide for this, you've come to the right place.
She is also considered one of the more beginner-friendly teammates, due to her low investment cost and high return for her ranged damage. If you need some support from a distance and you're not yet confident with ranged fighters on the field, consider Nam Chae-Young to get you started.

Once you've gotten around to having ranged fighters on your team, especially those whose magic power will be the focal point in their fight, consider bringing Lee Bora into your team's next mission in Solo Leveling: Arise Overdrive. Another tough recruit to succeed at, Lee Bora has a few roles to play on your team, making him worth the effort.
Lee Bora is not only great with her DPS output as a Dark Mage, but you'll find that she also has some powerful support moves. Work to upgrade both of these stats before long, though, and keep Lee Bora capable of solo leveling with your team in the end game of Arise Overdrive.

If you're a fan of stacking your critical hit damage (and increasing the rate at which you score critical hits in combat), then you'll definitely want to invest in a Chee-In before too long. She's only got a normal difficulty for her recruits, unlike the other hunters on our list, so she's a very easy teammate to convince.
Once she's in your battle formation, you'll find that Cha Hae-In helps in a number of ways, including but not limited to never giving your enemies a chance to heal. Because of this ability, you'll find him helpful in combat-heavy dungeon crawls and boss battles where you also have minions to fend off.
Alicia Blanche

You'll struggle to find an Aqua user with a better damage output in sheer numbers alone than Alicia Blanche. While she is a staple on any Aqua team, she has the ability to stand on her own even when placed in mixed teams.
As a mage, you need to be more careful than other characters standing on the field and engaging in close combat, but as long as you know how to protect her (her HP is relatively low and needs updates over time), she's definitely worth recruiting.
