Dragon Ball And power scaling seems to have been all the rage since the manga debuted in the 80s, and the topic only grew with each passing arc and new villain. Although the Dragon Ball Super The manga has progressed further than its anime counterpart, Jiren and Broly Still considered two of the most powerful forces in the series, they're both big dudes with straight intentions and muscles that could crush Goku or Vegeta.

For all their differences in strength and abilities, Broly and Jiren are similar in many ways. For example, when they were introduced, they were both much stronger than Goku and Vegeta in their Super Saiyan Blue states, enough to completely ragdoll the heroes in their most powerful forms at once. Both these mortals proved that one does not need God to reach the highest level of power.
In fact, both situations required the heroes to get a power-up that was far greater than anything that had come before it in order to defeat them. Now, the fandom is split on whether Jiren taking on Ultra Instinct Goku was more impressive or Broly taking on Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta, but what is clear is that without a substantial power boost on top of what they already had, there was no way for Goku or Vegeta to defeat these foes. However, with contextual analysis and additional clues from within the manga, it can be speculated that Broly might just be the more powerful of the two, at least for now.
The main reason is confirmed Super Manga, just like a person using god ki or other divine techniques does not need to win. In the manga, Beast Gohan and Granolah's incredible speed made them so fast that Ultra Instinct Goku's Instinctive Dodging could not react to their attacks, Broly's incredible ability is shown to eventually allow him to defeat Goku if he uses Ultra Instinct in his battle.
Ultra Instinct Goku was toying with him towards the end of their fight while Jiren also held his own at first. On top of that, Goku and Vegeta were much stronger against Broly than himself in the Tournament of Power due to their Zenkai boosts, so this knowledge makes Broly more dominant than previously thought as he brutally beats him in his base form.

In addition, Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta was needed to defeat Broly, which is not only a combination of Goku and Vegeta, but also an additional increase in power over it, which they received due to the fusion dance. While many argued that Fusion could beat Broly in his regular Super Saiyan form, Gogeta felt the need to go Blue to do the job as quickly and efficiently as possible. With all of this in mind, the length of time Broly lasted is really a testament to how strong he is, as Gogeta's Ultra Instinct is much stronger than Goku's.
A counterargument here would be something about how quickly Jiren dispatched Golden Frieza compared to Broly, who beat him by an hour. The answer is Super hero movie, where Vegeta states during the tournament that Jiren's power was not much greater than his or Goku's, just that his level of control was much higher. So, it just goes to show that he knows how to maximize his power, while Broly, in his frenzied berserker state, was taunting his enemy without even thinking about what he was doing. Ultra Ego is the transformation introduced in Dragon Ball Super, but what might the challenges be in mastering it?

The answer to the question is pretty obvious based on what fans have seen from the series, but given where the story is now, it's once again difficult to predict how the fight between the two will play out. Although Broly has perfected his Berserker Saiyan state and can control his powers better than ever, fans have no idea what has been going on since Jiren's Tournament of Power ended.
Being a combat genius as well as a master at controlling and applying his powers, it is entirely within the realm of possibility that Jiren has also unlocked some version of Ultra Instinct. More importantly, Jiren fights DBZ Broly's version, no Dragon Ball Super repetition. So, it makes perfect sense that the former would destroy the latter, since the original Broly's level is far below his. DBS equivalent Honestly, Jiren would look like a chump if he didn't beat this Broly.
