Now, more information has come out about Islands, a game mode that was first introduced last year WWE 2K25 The cover was built around star Roman Reigns and the wrestlers who participated in several original matches and storylines to try to unseat the Tribal Chief from his role. Insider Gaming Executive Editor Mike Straw has revealed via his official Twitter account that he has learned that the next visit to the Island will center around three fictional WWE factions: the Order of Anarchy, the Order of Shadows, and the Order of Tradition. He didn't provide much information beyond the names of the factions, but while Reigns may no longer be the head honcho of the Island, the faction-based system could indicate that players can choose to align themselves with different groups of WWE Superstars and other players.
Rumors from about a week ago claimed that the island would return WWE 2K26 With big changes, including a brand new story. That set of rumors only revealed the name of the Order of Anarchy, though it also mentioned the fall of Roman rule and the struggle between factions in the power vacuum left by his defeat. Also, according to that set of rumors, the transition between the next The Island mode will be seamless and consistent with the final game, with no time passing between the events of the in-between game modes.
