ZA officially has three new threats

Pokemon Legends: ZA It's in its third week of life after launch, and many players are already waiting for the release of the confirmed Mega Dimension DLC to spice things up with new content and even more Mega Evolutions. Based on leakage, Pokemon Legends: ZAThe DLC will feature 19 new Mega Evolutions, although other details regarding the story and new content remain a mystery. While the DLC may still be a few months away, with no official release date available yet, fans don't really have to wait for new content, as the upcoming Season 2 is already confirmed to shake things up on November 5.

Season 1 Pokemon Legends: ZA Almost done, ends November 4th at 9:59 PM PST. It introduced Mega Greninja and Greninjite as rewards for reaching Rank K in online battles, and Season 2 is about to do something similar with Delfox. That's not all, though, with Season 2 two more “new” Pokemon will be available. The new threats are:

  • Mega Delfox, which is obtained by claiming Delfoxite as a reward after reaching Rank S in Season 2.

  • Xerneas, which will no longer be banned from ranked battles and will have no team building restrictions.

  • Yveltal, which will no longer be banned from ranked battles and will have no team building restrictions.

This means that with Season 2, all players will be able to use Mega Delfox, Xernias and Yveltal in online battles, which will dramatically change the game's competitive landscape. In comparison, it usually takes longer for the new generation Pokemon The games allow players to use legendary Pokemon, while Xerneas and Yveltal will only be available for battles three weeks after launch.

Pokemon Legends: ZA's 'new' legendary Pokemon are about to dominate online battles.

However Pokemon Legends: ZAWhile Xerneas and Yveltal don't have new Mega Evolutions, and they're also missing their iconic aura abilities, they're still very powerful Pokemon with some of the best stats in the game, as well as signature moves. Xerneas has Geomancy, which increases Sp. Attock, sp. Def, and movement speed, while Yveltal has Oblivion Wing, which deals damage as a flying move and restores Yveltal's HP.

These can have incredible properties Pokemon Legends: ZAIn ranked battles, speed helps Pokemon move quickly to attack opponents, stat boosts can make a big difference, and self-healing can make it easier to survive long enough to get KOs. Both Pokemon have incredible attack stats, with high HP and defense, meaning items like Expert Belts and Attack Vests can be optimal choices for them.

The Assault Vest in Pokemon Legends: ZA can be obtained through a side mission or in Racine Construction in the post-game. Giving it to Xerneas means it can't use its Geomancy move, since it's a status move.

Pokemon Legends: ZAThe Mega Delfox is also going to be a very powerful choice, as it will be among the critters with the highest Sp. Atk in game after Mega Zygarde, which is unusable in online battles. Due to Dragon and Ground-type dominance with many Ice-type Pokemon such as Gleason, Avalug, Vanilox, and even Froslas being used in competitive battles, Delfox can easily take care of them with STAB Fire attacks.

On top of that, Delfox has access to both Reflect and Light Screen, which are typically found on many of the best teams. Pokemon Legends: ZA Because of the sheer damage reduction they provide to the entire team. Mega Delfox will essentially be a powerhouse of a special attacker, and while it lacks Ice coverage for Dragon and Ground-type Pokémon Pokemon Legends: ZAIt has coverage moves like Solar Beam, Dazzling Glare, Shadow Ball, and Focus Blast.
