While Granolah himself is very strong, his version of Hakai is much weaker than Topo's, in large part because he doesn't understand how to use destructive abilities. Toppo trained to become a Destroyer, while Granolah wanted to become stronger. By the end of the arc, however, Granolah begins to adapt to the ability and can actually wield destruction as well as Beerus, instantly turning anything in his path to ash.

Gas can do everything Granolah can do – but better

Granolah's time as the strongest person in Universe 7 doesn't last long. After Elec learns that Granolah used the Dragon Balls to make him stronger, he heads to Serial, summoning Toronbo and wanting his brother Gas to become the strongest warrior in the universe.
