Starfinder: Afterlight's A team of spacefaring friends welcomes a new member: Preech, an insectoid Shireen mystic who rescues the utterly adorable larvae. Promoted by award-winning actors, directors, and performance capture artists Neil Newbone. Newbon had previously announced that he was working Voice director for Starfinder: Afterlight. Since then announcement, fans are eager to know if he will lend his iconic voice to the project, and now they have their answer.
Neil Newbone joins the Starfinder: Afterlight cast as Shireen Mystique
In a conversation with Game Rant, Newbone revealed that it took “very little persuasion” from Epitelers Entertainment. Newbon described the preacher as “a bit bookish” and more devoted to his role as the “guardian of the Golden One”, a larva prophesied to bring miracles to his people. He felt that publicity served as the “father” of the crew Starfinder: Afterlight Friends, the equivalent of Captain Khali's “mother” role. Newbon even went so far as to dub his characters “Bug Daddy” and “Daddy Preach,” nicknames that could rank between them. Starfinder: Afterlight's fans.
It is very different from propaganda Baldur's Gate 3 Astarion, but the actor hinted that Pritch might have something in store for romantic hopefuls: “Hey, insects can be hot. I'm just saying. Like, praying mantis, man. Starfinder: Afterlight Players who want to get to know Pritch and the rest of the game early can back the game's Kickstarter, which is open until November 6. The game is currently scheduled to launch in Early Access in 2026, with plans to reveal more characters and actors in the future.
