Nearly a decade after its groundbreaking Netflix debut, Stranger Things is coming to an end. Season five will begin streaming exclusively on Netflix from November 26, 2025, and to celebrate, TheGamer can exclusively reveal Loungefly's first-ever Stranger Things collection.
Loungefly is best known for creating high-end backpacks, wallets and accessories based on elements and characters from their fantasy worlds with big IPs like Marvel and Hello Kitty. While Netflix has worked with it in the past to do so – now the Wednesday collection is available on Loungefly – this is the first time that Stranger Things has been given the Loungefly treatment.
Loungefly reveals its first collection of unknown objects
One of Loungefly's specialties is bringing colorful characters from movies and TV shows to life. Stranger Things is a live-action series with mostly human characters, which has proven to be a little tricky. However, there is one creature from the Upside Down that fits the bill, the Demogorgon, and it's the star of the backpack that headlines Loungefly's new range.
The Stranger Things 5 Mini Backpack It costs $80 and is designed to look like it's made from old newspapers, containing stories about the topsy-turvy history of Hawkins, Indiana. Tearing up those newspapers is a Demogorgon that, despite getting an animated loungefly makeover, is just as terrifying as the ones that hunt our heroes on the show.
If you don't want to feel like someone behind you is pulling you upside down while wearing a backpack, Loungefly's Stranger Things collection has another, more colorful, backpack option. The Stranger Things 5 WSQK Vans Mini BackpackWhich costs $90. As already indicated by the name of the backpack, it is designed to look like a van from the WSQK radio station. Well, the front pocket is Vans, and the rest of the backpack is a matching blue with upside down embroidered creatures.
If backpacks aren't your bag, the collection includes that too Hellfire Club Crossbody Bag For $70. The Hellfire Club was formed in season four of Stranger Things, and you've probably seen people wearing t-shirts bearing its logo a thousand times since then. One-up them by grabbing a loungefly bag that's more of a Stranger Things aesthetic than the bright red Hellfire Club logo featured on its t-shirts.
