Boruto: Two Blue Vortexes The story is doing well to correct some of the major mistakes of the first part, and fans are enjoying the continuation of the series. Where the first part of the story neglected exploration, fans now find themselves traveling through the world as a ninja. There are a lot of strong ninjas that live in the world of Boruto at the moment, and fans are well aware that they need to be used better. It just so happens that series writer Mikio Ikemoto, who works together with supervisor, Masashi Kishimoto, plans to soon reintroduce the legendary ninja of a bygone era into the story. As some may have guessed, it's a ninja Sixth Hokage of Konoha, Kakashi Hatake. With immense power up his sleeve, Kakashi Hatake is definitely going to be incredibly important Moving forward, especially given the current situation Konoha finds itself in, the traitor, Boruto Uzumaki.
Kakashi Hatake will soon be able to return to Boruto
currently, Kakashi Hatake is nowhere to be seen in Boruto's storyBut that could change soon given the current political situation in Konoha. Currently, Konoha does not have a Hokage. Their Seventh Hokage is declared dead, and Shikamaru stands in his place, but refuses to be officially declared the Eighth Hokage despite great pressure. Simply put, Konoha doesn't even have a Hokage right now.

To make things worse, Shikamaru is suspected of treason, which means that he will soon be stripped of all power and authority. If that happens, Konoha needs someone else to lead them, and the only experienced person who can really do that is Kakashi Hatake. Ikemoto himself planned to return Kakashi Hatake some time ago. Kakashi could be the next Hokage of Konoha
Although it may not be possible for fans right now, the fact remains that Kakashi Hatake could become the next Hokage of Konoha. This would not be unprecedented either. When the Fourth Hokage died, Konoha reverted to the Third Hokage instead of immediately electing the Fifth Hokage. Similarly, until the right candidate reaches the age, Konoha instead returns to Kakashi Hatake to serve as Hokage.

Boruto's lack of focus on older actors needs to be addressed
Kakashi becomes the next Hokage The Boruto series will bring him back under the spotlight and it's absolutely necessary right now. While Boruto: Two Blue Vortexes It did an incredibly good job of fixing some of the biggest problems with the story, the lack of screen time for older generation characters that still persisted. Kakashi Hatake, involved in the story, will go a long way to solve this problem, and fans can't wait to see what he has to offer the village as a leader in his old age, where he may be weaker than before, but also more mature and experienced.
