Embark Studios has had to raise the challenge level Ark RaidersAfter the first community challenge players quickly broke through the donation requirement. Have a great day Ark Raiders The first planned content expansion as a community has arrived, and it seems that the level of enthusiasm of the players has also contributed to the big push to finish the first event as soon as possible.
After the big launch, Ark Raiders launched its North Line update, bringing the first wave of new content to the game. However, instead of unlocking everything right away, Embark Studios challenged the community to donate resources and materials to clear the tunnel and open the way to Stella Montis. There's a lot of anticipation surrounding the new location, which features unique locations and loot to acquire, while also introducing two new ARC enemy types to deal with in Matriarch and Shredder. Players are clearly eager to see the new content, which has been a surprising change from Embark Studios.
The Ark Raiders Stella Montis event becomes more challenging
However, it seems that Embark wasn't expecting such a big push from the community, as the developer had to scramble to prevent players from unlocking the new Stella Montis map much faster than expected. In an update on the official Discord server, Embark's community manager, Osen, confirmed that progress has been much faster than the studio expected. Because things are moving a bit too fast and in an effort to allow all players to experience the event, the studio has increased the requirement even further, thanks to the large number of players. Ark RaidersIt probably won't take long to reach that new goal.
Already, players have noticed that the progress bar has dropped since the news broke, though thankfully, Essentials has enough standard resources in the game. By checking the Live Events section in the game's menu, players can see community progress, while also sharing donations Ark Raiders Loot items such as clothing, plastic, metal, and rubber parts, or chemicals. For their efforts, players can also earn Merits, a new currency that Embark says will “fuel the next phase of progression” possibly linked to the Staking Our Claim phase of the unlock process after completing a challenge. There is a cap on how many merits can be earned, but players can continue to donate materials beyond that point if they wish.
Along with this community challenge, Embark has been relatively quick to respond to player feedback. Players have been very vocal about the addition of a dedicated Duos mode Ark RaidersWhich Embark quickly addressed in an update. Not only that, the developer lowered the prices for cosmetic gear within the in-game shop, even offering refunds for players who have already spent money to make the difference. Players who meet that requirement should see their Raider token number increase if it hasn't already.
