Cox is one of three actors nominated for his role Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Charlie Cox says Gustav's motion capture actor should get credit for the role
While Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Nominated for 10 different categories at The Game Awards, including Game of the Year and Best Narrative, Cox shared his thoughts on being recognized for his work as Gustav. At an event in Mexico in late November, Cox said that, while he was thrilled to be recognized for his voice acting work, any awards he might receive for voicing Gustav should go to Gustav's motion capture actor instead. Cox said Gustav's motion capture actor was a French actor named Maxence Cazorla. Cox said, “I believe that the performance of that character is really for him, and my voice was just part of that process.”
Cox added that Cazorla was responsible for nearly all of Gustav's speed captures Campaign 33. Cox's idea came months after he said he needed to pick up a video game console to play Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. He previously said it was one of the last video games he played Super Mario 64And that graphics has come a long way since then.
