All the big upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 games are releasing in 2025 and beyond
Fire Emblem, Mario, Animal Crossing, and Alden Ring are just some of the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 games we can't wait for.
These latest updates arrived on November 24 and brought the system to version 21.0.1. Apart from the usual general stability improvements, the patch notes revealed some special fixes that will make life easier for users. First, the update addressed an issue where error codes would appear on the switch when trying to transfer to Switch 2 via local communication. Nintendo also fixed an issue that prevented some wireless controllers and Bluetooth audio devices from connecting to the system after using Sleep Mode or turning off Airplane Mode.
It's worth noting that the original Switch has also received an update. It surprisingly addresses the system migration bug mentioned above and includes general stability improvements. As with past system updates, it's unclear how these general improvements will enhance the user experience. While Switch and Switch 2 users should have no problem moving their systems to the latest version, Nintendo notes that it should download automatically. However, users can check the version status in the system settings menu to make sure.
This system update comes at a busy time for Nintendo. Kirby Air Riders On 20 November Switch 2 was released exclusively, offering a fundamentally new racing game from Masahiro Sakurai. Kirby Air Ride For the GameCube. Furthermore, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Launching on December 4. The game features the latest adventure of Samus Aran and comes after a long development cycle.
