Going up in Arc Raiders is a dangerous task. When you're not being gunned down by arcs or other players, you can find yourself in the middle of a streamer battle. There are many things that can kill you, but nothing is worse than being sniped by campers as you're about to pull out.
Most of the other players you meet in Arc Raiders will yell “don't shoot” as soon as they meet you, while others will constantly search you for any loot you manage to snag. But the ones hiding in the bushes at the exit points waiting to pick you up are another kind of evil. Thankfully, there is a way to find them.
Ping bushes in Arc Raiders to find hidden players
As Super_Avocado's Reddit post shows, if you're approaching an extraction point and guess there's a player hiding in the bushes, you can spam the ping key into the bushes. If there's a player hiding, Ping will pick them up and you can give them a taste of their own medicine.
I have been ambushed at evacuation points on several occasions. This is one of the most frustrating things in the game. Thankfully, this technology makes it easy to avoid these vultures and turn the tables on them. Now you not only get safe evacuation, but also get to keep the loot these campers took.
The comments on the post indicate how many players have been frustrated by the attackers hiding in the bushes. In fact, some players commented that the bush in the video is the same bush they hide in as they pick up unsuspecting attackers. Unfortunately, others said they hid in the bushes to avoid being seen by the Arks, not to pick up other players.
Ark Riders must be nominated for at least this GOTY category
Arc Raiders sound design is excellent, and it's a real shame it didn't get a nod at this year's Game Awards.
You will have to use your own judgment when it comes to using this technique. The player hiding in the bushes may not want to fight you, but you can take them out if your conscience is clear. If I were you, I wouldn't take any chances. I have been burned many times.
