
We're nearing the end of the Fall 2025 season, and it's safe to say it's been a good one. Like a series of returns and releases My Hero Academia and a piece Featuring quality episode after quality episode, to new adaptations, this season has something for everyone.
With about a month to go, we have a good idea of which series fans are enjoying and which are struggling to stay relevant week after week. This past week (November 24-30) had some great episodes. Here's a look at what IMDb says are the highest-rated for the week, along with some entries that might surprise you.

2025 has had some great romance anime, and this season is being overlooked. Yano-kun's typical days Could be one of the best of the year. The series follows the titular Yano, a weak klutz who is always injured. When he transfers to a new class and meets the class president Kyoko, his life begins to change for the better.
Episode 9 centers around Yano and Yoshida's study session at the later house. It's full of great moments between the two and shows some real growth in their relationship. It is one of the highest rated episodes of the season and continues the hot streak the series has been on recently.

Tojima wants to become a Kamen Rider This may be one of the most overlooked series of the season. A spin-off of popular Kamen Rider franchise, the series follows Tanzaburo Tojima, who dreamed of becoming a Kamen Rider as a child. Now an adult, Tanjaburo is close to giving up on his dream, but the arrival of a fake shocker gang brings him back to it.
As the tournament continues from Episode 8, Tojima and the rest of the gang face off to see who will challenge the Spider-Man monster. The episode features some great moments with Mitsuba and Ichio stealing the show.

May this mournful soul retire! is a fun fantasy series that seems to have attracted a very loyal fan base since it first aired as part of the Fall 2024 lineup. Now a year later, part 2 of the series is getting rave reviews from fans.
Episode 22, “The Nine-Tailed Fox Wants to Skim in the Shadows” currently stands as the highest rated series on IMDb. However, it's worth noting that this is based on only 7 user ratings, so that number may dip a bit.

This monster wants to eat me The fall 2025 season is one of the most interesting series the season has to offer. After losing her family due to an accident, Hinako no longer wants to move on. But when she meets a mermaid named Shiori who, along with other monsters, is drawn to Hinako's blood, Hinako agrees to let Shiori protect her until she becomes the most delicious. Only then will Shiori fulfill his promise to eat Hina and end her suffering.
Episode 9 features some great scenes between Shiori and Miko, offering two unique perspectives from both characters that really flesh them out and help us learn more about them. There's also a big reveal that will definitely affect Hinako and Shiori's relationship for the rest of the series, so future episodes will be fun to keep an eye on.

Dusk Beyond the End of the World is definitely one of the weirdest series the Fall 2025 season has to offer. After saving his foster sister, Towasa, from an assassin, Akira is put into a cryogenic sleep. 200 years later, Akira wakes up to find himself on an unfamiliar world ruled by a mysterious organization called OWEL. After an android named Yugure rescues him from the group, Akira sets out to find Towasa, who he believes is still alive.
While not the best overall score, individual episodes of Dusk Beyond the End of the World always seem to have high scores. It's an ambitious original project that definitely deserves a shot if you haven't checked it out yet, as the latest episode has some incredible revelations that should make for an interesting conclusion.

my hero and a piece This season may be the biggest shonen anime broadcast, but Gachiakuta It looks like it could be the next big thing. The long-awaited anime adaptation began airing as part of the Summer 2025 line-up and is going strong in the fall.
The series follows outcast Rudo, who, after being accused of murdering his father, is exiled. Forced to navigate the wasteland now known as “The Pit”, Rudo sets out to avenge his father's death. It may be in the shadow of more established series now, but every week proves it Gachiakuta Could be the kind of staying power that most series dream about.

The Umamusume The franchise has exploded in popularity over the past few years. With multiple manga and anime adaptations to go along with the incredibly popular game, the franchise shows no signs of stopping.
As you'd expect from such a huge franchise, it looks like fans are really enjoying the sequel cinderella gry anime adaptation. Episode 20 kicks off with a shocking announcement from Tamamo Cross that should set up some interesting things as the season draws to a close.

The last season of My Hero Academia Everything fans could have hoped for has happened. It has done an amazing job adapting the manga, providing fans with amazing fight scenes, visuals, and incredible performances from talented actors.
It's no surprise given the series' reception, with no episode this season falling below a 9.1. As we decrement and reach the end of the source material, my hero Doesn't seem like it's running out of steam yet. It will be hard to say goodbye after this series ends, especially with how good these recent episodes have been.

The a piece The anime is finally getting ready to go into the Elbaf arc. The anime has been incredible lately, putting out some great episodes that really do the Egghead arc justice.
Episode 1151 shows Bonnie's Nika form as she and Luffy team up to take down the Elders from Aghead. Aside from the great work, fans may note that one of the series' original voice actors returns to play a small but important role.

The surprise hit of the fall 2025 season is Gnosia, an adaptation of the 2019 visual novel of the same name. The series follows the protagonist Yuri, who wakes up on a spaceship with amnesia. But things take a turn for the worse when Yui learns that one of the other crew members is Gnosia; An infected person is forced to kill others. As the crew votes on who they think is the Gnosi, Yuri is sent back to when he initially woke up. Now stuck in a time loop where nothing is consistent, Yuri must find the answer to this puzzle once and for all.
Gnoisia An interesting, if not all that unique premise. But the anime has been winning over fans week after week. This might just be one of the better Fall 2025 series when all is said and done.
