Diablo 4 Ice Age Wizard Build

  • Ball Lightning Wizard

  • Crackling energy magician

  • Ice Shards Sorcerer

Since Orsivane is a one-handed mace, builds that use a one-handed weapon in the mage's main hand and focus in their off hand will be most successful. Force Lightning mages are going to benefit the most from using Orsivane, as they can use the unique Focus Okun's Catalyst with it for an AoE ball lightning that surrounds the mage and damages nearby enemies. While Crackling Energy and Ice Shards Sorcerers don't have a very powerful synergy with Orsivane, they can still use it effectively.

Typically, these builds require multiple defensive skills on the action bar to be effective. However, keeping them out of the Action Bar in Season 11 increases the overall damage of the build and instead opens the door for more offensive skills to use, giving the class an additional damage bonus from the Sorcerer's Elemental Synergy passive. Also, at any cost the enchantment effects of these skills make their primary effects unavailable on the action bar.
