Saving Usopp from Enel

Sacrifice your safety for a crew

  • Make sure Usopp lives to see another day

The Scipia Ark was full of amazing scenes, many of which remain relevant to the story. Aside from its historical significance, the arc also featured one of the worst antagonists in One Piece—Enel. After destroying his entire homeland, he came to Scipia and began to rule with an iron fist. Due to his Loggia-type Devil Fruit, it was almost impossible for the Straw Hats to hurt him.

During one scene, Usopp was brutally beaten by Enel. The latter used his Goro Goro no Mi to charge the sniper with an electrical charge of thousands of volts. Things were not looking good for Usopp. In fact, everything pointed to Usopp's death. However, Sanji decided to put his life on the line and threw Usopp directly into Nami's scooter, knocking him out of range for another attack. With Usopp safe, Sanji then took the brunt of Enel's attack. The strike was devastating and would have killed any normal human, but Sanji refused to go down. Instead, he thanked Enel for lighting his smoke.

Protecting the Vinsmoke family

  • Free your family members from the clutches of Big Mom Pirates

All of the Winsmokes except Reiju and Sora were rude to Sanji and even beat him up. Sanji suffered a lot because of them but he never let his kindness die. In the Whole Cake Island arc, the Judge and his sons mocked Sanji for his behavior, but they did not know that the outcast would save them from certain death.

7 lucky one piece characters, ranked

Luck plays a big role in a piece. As luck would have it, even though these characters were few, they did not survive.

During the tea party, the Big Mother pirates betray the Winsmoke family. Perospero then used his Devil Fruit to immobilize the judge and his children, rendering them completely defenseless. All the pirates had to do was kill them, and they would be able to take all the German technology. Unfortunately for them, Sanji and his allies arrive just in the nick of time to save the Winsmoke family. Sanji used his kick to break the candy that was blocking his father and siblings from moving. That moment showed that Sanji's kindness knows no bounds, and he would never let a tyrant win.

Freeing Momonosuke from captivity

Momonosuke was saved from certain death

Sanji fights the king

  • He alone saved Wano's future

Momonosuke was the most important character in the Wano Country arc. As the son of Kozuki Oden, he was in line to become Wano's ruler. Kaido knew the importance of Momonosuke, so he decided to publicly execute him. He was later beaten and tied to a pillar. To prevent any interference, the king and queen were entrusted with the protection of Momonosuke.

The presence of Kaido's two strong underlings prevented most people from saving Momonosuke. But Sanji was not prepared to stand idly by as the young boy was executed. So, he used his red suit's invisibility cloak to sneak behind the Yonko commanders and freed Momonosuke. Sanji then handed Momonosuke over to Shinobu, who took him to safety. Without Sanji's efforts, the alliance's hopes would have been crushed, and they would have lost the will to fight.

Asking Robin to save him

Finally let go of his past trauma

Sanji yelling for Robin

  • Showed how much has changed

Like any character, Sanji's past made him the person he is. Sanji never wanted to be a burden on his friends, so he continued to work on his own. Regardless of the situation, Sanji kept things to himself, so when he asked Robin for help in Wano, everyone was surprised.

These one-piece characters are unlikely to play a role in the final saga.

Some mocked him for being weak, while others called him selfish. But the truth is that this was one of the best Sanji moments. This indicated how Sanji let go of his past when he begged for help and no one came. Additionally, it shows Sanji's faith in Robin. Otherwise, he would never have called Robin for help.

Beating Wano Rani with ease

A strong test of Sanji's strength

  • Sanji stood firm against a dangerous opponent

Sanji has won many battles, greatly benefiting the Straw Hat Pirates. Without his strength, the crew would never have gotten this far. One of his most impressive displays of power was against Queen, one of the All-Stars.

Not only does Sanji win the fight soundly, he also makes a major statement that doesn't require his father's science. What makes the fight even more poetic is that the queen was partnered with the judge, and her entire body was fitted with scientific weapons. Sanji's victory symbolized his determination and his desire to break free from his past.
