Mad Max Came out twice at the wrong time. First, it didn't release alongside the biggest summer blockbuster of 2015, Mad Max: Fury Road. Then, when it finally started, it was sideways Metal Gear Solid 5: Phantom Pain. Mad Max looks like it won't win, and while it's not quite as action-packed as the film it ties to, it's still the best game based on the franchise so far. There's great car combat, a world full of sickos, and the gunplay isn't bad either.
