Jujutsu Kaisen Yuka welcomes Okkotsu as a new user of the Ten Shadow Technique, raising questions about the whereabouts of its previous caster, Megumi Fushiguro. Since the first chapter of JJK Modulo, Megumi has never appeared, while her friends, Yuji Itadori and Nobara Kugisaki, have officially returned after a 62-year skip.
Jujutsu Kaisen Fans are now worried about Megumi Fushiguro's current status, as the JJK sequel has already confirmed the deaths of two major characters, Yuta Okkotsu and Maki Genin. With Megumi out of commission and Yuka being welcomed as the new Ten Shadow user, fans are beginning to speculate that Megumi Fushiguro is already dead in the JJK module.

Megumi Fushiguro has not returned to JJK Modulo
Megumi's current status is uncertain
While Megumi Fushiguro's Ten Shadow Technique returned to the JJK module, the man himself never showed up. His disappearance in the JJK sequel has become a hot topic among fans, especially those who believe he has gone off-screen, possibly due to old age or an unknown illness. Even major characters are not exempt from certain death in the series, so Gege Akutami may have ended Megumi's journey as well.
Unlike Yuji Itadori, who roams the streets of present-day Japan, or Nobara Kugisaki, who keeps in touch with jujutsu society, there is no concrete update on Megumi's status. While fans want to see Megumi alive and well, there are fans who want her dead and gone for the sake of the next generation of magicians. Megumi has served her purpose in the original series, and bringing her back to JJK Modulo may no longer be appropriate.
Still, in a world where aliens have become a significant threat to jujutsu magicians, Megumi isn't the type of guy to stay calm, especially when people close to him are in danger. One way or another, he is still connected to Yuka and Tsurugi Okkotsu, after all. In short, Megumi's silence is disturbing and worrying for fans.

Two ten shadow users can exist simultaneously
Fans of Jujutsu Kaisen have embraced Yuka Okkotsu as a new user of the Ten Shadows Technique after seeing him summon the divine general Mahoraga against Dabura Karaba in a duel that threatened his life. Only those who can use the Ten Shadows technique can spawn a Mahoraga, which reminds fans of Megumi Fushiguro and the first time she summoned an uncontrollable Shikigami against Haruta Shigemo in JJK Season 2.
Having Yuka as the new Ten Shadows user doesn't mean Megumi Fushiguro is dead in JJK Modulo. There is no clear evidence of his death, and while it is unnecessary for two Ten Shadow users to be at the same time, the story does not establish any rule that the technique cannot be manifested in more than one user simultaneously. This rule is unlimited and can only be applied to six eyes, which can only be revealed to one user, at least for now.

As such, there is still hope that Megumi is still alive in JJK Modulo. However, her status, whether or not she is still able to fight, is a big question, as Megumi shows no evidence of life in the sequel. Worst case, Megumi dies off-screen, and fans will have no choice but to accept her death.
Megumi may still appear in JJK Modulo
Fans have seen familiar faces in JJK Modulo, including Yuji, Nobara, and Ui Ui, all confirmed to be alive and well. Then there were characters like Gojo, Sukuna, and Mahito who appeared in manga panels, either using them as references or intentionally inserted to confuse readers about their role in the JJK sequel.
On that note, Megumi Fushiguro may still appear Jujutsu Kaisen ModuloEither through flashbacks, visions, or dreams. Depending on his current status, whether he is alive or not, Gege Akutami may bring Megumi back. However, it's best to keep expectations in check, especially with Yuji Itadori suffering from the grief of losing his friends in the jujutsu world.
