Epic has now officially revealed the eighth mystery game of its holiday season promo: Callisto protocol. The big-budget sci-fi horror game is free to claim for 24 hours until December 25th, at 8am PT / 11am ET / 5pm CET. This is the first title from the ongoing holiday giveaway that has already been treated as a 100% discount on the platform in the past. Specifically, the Epic Game Store users were able to pick up Callisto protocol Free for a week-long period in late August 2024.

The debut title from Striking Distance Studios, Callisto protocol is a story-driven survival horror game directed by dead space Producer Glen Schofield.
