Each of the playable characters Alden Ring: Nitrene They come with their own set of skills, moves, relics, and a special side quest called the Remembrance Quest. This is a questline that consists of different chapters, written in your journal, in which you need to meet other NPCs and personal objectives.
As an extension, Forsaken Hollows introduces two new characters, which also means two new quests for you to explore and complete. In this guide, we dive deep into the Scholar's Memory quest, all its chapters and what you should do in each of them in Elden Ring: Nightreign.

How to complete the scholar's side quest
You can start the Scholar's Remembrance quest as soon as you unlock the character. You need to defeat GladiusFirst Nightlord available, to do so. Here is our guide with tips.
Chapter 1 and Chapter 2
The first chapters are, in general, all you need Complete campaign with scholars. It doesn't matter if you complete them successfully or if you die in the first five minutes. You just need to play Until you get the memory pieces Back to the roundtable hold.
The memory piece is at the bottom right of the notification screen, once you're back in the hub. If you think you missed an announcement, you can always check the journal and move between pages to check the most recent active chapter.

Chapter 3
Start memorizing with a journal, and you'll be done Visit the chapel At the Round Table Conference. This is where you can also find The Undertaker.
When you enter the room, turn right and examine the desk with the papers. Check it out, and Read the “tear” piece of paper. It will give you personal purpose. Now you need it Start Balancer or Dreglord campaigns (Alone or with one or two additional players).
You don't need to win campaigns: Go to the place marked with an orange flag on your map. Its location will change with every campaign you do, so check your map before going anywhere.
It is recommended that you clear a camp, level up, and then go on the first day. If your allies go with you, it will be better, but you can avoid all the enemies and hurry to the place of objective.
In the area I had, I needed to go to the dungeon on the east side of the map. Here, you should find a room with a ladder and a hole in the floor. Going down, you'll find a desk with books and an item to pick up: Vassal's Journal.
Finish the campaign (you can die during the first boss if you're playing alone and want to speed it up), and return to the chapel. You'll find Undertaker licking the purple substance off the wall (!) Chat with her, try to leave the room, and Interact with the NPC at the door. Then return to Undertaker, and he will thank you. Ask him a favor, and this chapter will be complete.
Chapter 4
Just play with Scholar until you earn a new memory piece.
Chapter 5
Go to the journal, select the fifth chapter, and start memorizing. You will have to Talk to the little jar. He will teleport you North Keep, a castle on the DLC map. You'll be level 8, so you won't be defenseless against enemies. However, you can leave all the creatures you want until the mandatory battles.

Once that's done, head back to the locked door, which you'll now be able to open. Interact with the desk, and then with the character trapped in the crystal in the same room.
Finish the recall, and you will earn Cleaning up tear residue as a reward.
Chapter 6 and Chapter 7
Once again, play the campaigns with the scholar until you get the memory fragments and unlock the final chapter.
Chapter 8
For the final chapter, you need to check the journal once more, start memorizing, and Talk to Undertaker in the chapel. You should go to the cloakroom and Interact with Mirror Go to your desk in the chapel, and examine it.
You will achieve your ultimate personal objective: Defeat the treacherous Straighess in the Dreglord campaign.
Once this is done, You will receive the Golden One's Headband. Back in the roundtable hold, talk to Undertaker, and the quest will be complete.
