A teaser trailer of Pokemon TCG reveals that four brand-new Mega Pokémon are coming to Ascended Heroes. Ascended Heroes will officially introduce Mega Attack Rare cards to the TCG, teasing new cards for Mega Hawlucha, Mega Eelektross, Mega Dragonite, and Mega Froslass. The teaser depicts each Pokemon with the Japanese name of their signature attack, as well as revealing a new rarity symbol for the Mega Attack rare with a pink and a green star. The Pokemon Company has not given any official details on how hard it will be to pull off the new Mega Attack Rare cards, which are expected to be highly sought after cards.
The Mega Attack Rare reveal also gives players a look at the abilities and attacks for the new cards. Mega Howlucha's tenacious physical prowess will make it surprisingly resilient in matches, able to avoid being knocked out by winning coin flips. Mega Electros combines bench damage and high single-target hits with its attacks, making it effective at sniping set-up Pokemon. The Pokemon Company has already revealed Mega Dragonite, with its Sky Transport ability allowing players to switch their active Pokemon for free, while Mega Froslas punishes players for having too many cards in their hand with its Resentful Refrain attack.
